We chose Staks for breakfast and drinks before an early game instead of tailgating. Long line but handled quickly. Good and interesting menu selection but very rigid. They will only cook food one way, which means hash browns couldn’t be made crispy and in my view were well under cooked with minimal browning if any. In contrast, bacon came out over cooked and brittle and not the as some on the table. Sent back and they cooked it perfectly. Their biscuits and gravy were good but...
My husband wanted to try this place out, so we brought some friends from out of town with us. First, there’s a long line you have to wait in to get a table assigned to your group. Then you have to take your table number and wait in a second long line to place your order. So the majority of your time is spent waiting in various lines. The service was nice enough, especially the guy who brought out our food. The prices are pretty high for the quality of food. I ordered the Cheesesteak...
I highly recommend Stacks to anyone in the Auburn area! The atmosphere was great! The staff was very friendly and accommodating to my dietary needs. The menu had a variety of options; both sweet and savory. The pancakes were AMAZING. The portions are generous, so come hungry!
