I've been looking forward to sushi bistro since I read the good reviews several weeks ago. Despite yelp and Google listing their hours incorrectly, we returned after our first unsuccessful visit for an early dinner. We ordered three specialty rolls and a teriyaki dish. We also ordered the spring rolls. We were brought eggrolls in place of the spring rolls but chalked it up to a communication error. The sushi rolls arrived quickly and tasted good. They were by far the smallest specialty rolls I've had at any restaurant. I'm not sure if that has always been the case at this restaurant or if they are just trying to survive post pandemic.Wait staff was friendly and courteous and the prices are about what you would expect to pay for full size, sushi dishes. The chicken teriyaki was a bit dry and tough but the sauce was good with a very mild teriyaki flavor.They may do a good takeout and dine in business later in the evening, but during our visit, we were one of two parties the entire time. I sent Google a photo of their correct hours and I think they are now correct on yelp if you want to give it a try.

This is one of my favorite places for sushi. The restaurant is a lot of things all in one. It could be considered a romantic spot because of the lighting and atmosphere, but I'm also not afraid to bring my child here. The food is really good and the service is even better. They have a large variety of sushi rolls plus bentonite boxes and bowls, which are my favorite. This has become a regular favorite place of mine to dine. It's a bit on the pricey side for my wallet, but it's about the same as the others. I definitely recommend this spot as a place to stop for a bite to eat or to try some sushi. ❤️

I used to love Sushi Bistro but we went for dinner recently and based on that meal, I will likely not go back. First, I want to start with the positive. We requested a table ahead of time on Google and I would like to say that our table was ready with no waiting. Staff was nice. Now for the bad, the food was soooo disappointing. All meat, in all ways we were served, was over cooked. The tempura shrimp in my sushi was chewy. I ordered the kids teriyaki chicken bowl for my son- chicken was so overcook he couldn’t even chew it enough to eat it so he pretty much ate nothing for dinner at the restaurant. My husbands hibachi chicken was also extremely overcooked and chewy. Terrible. I also had an upset stomach the entire day after eating this meal. Not sure if it was related but also not certain that it wasn’t.

Fish was basically frozen. Flavor of the sashimi was so so for frozen fish. Had much better just about everywhere. Real disappointment.

We came for the holidays and wanted something not so heavy our sister in law suggested this place. The food was great we have the tuna, seasoned great. Then spring rolls had. Great sauce. Wish they had more of it. I got the veggies roll it was not rolled right and fell apart, but was still good. My husband got the Texas roll which was total bang for your buck. Great place
This place is great the sushi is delicious. It’s typically not crowded and your seated immediately. The sushi is fresh and they have tons of options. The staff is always friendly.

My favorite sushi spot in the auburn-opelika area. The ratio of ingredients in the roll are just right, the fry oil is always fresh, and the ginger salad dressing alone will have you coming back.Great lunch deals too!

We enjoy Sushi Bistro about once a month. She is a huge fan of the Shrimp Tempura and had never been disappointed. I've sampled a much wider variety of the menu. All of the Sushi is high quality and well prepared. I've learned what I don't like based on my personal preference. We are looking forward to going again next time. They have expanded their seating area.
