Food was great but the service was awful. Our waiter took about 10 minutes to even greet us and then ignored us when we wanted to cash out. Served multiple tables that were sat AFTER we ever arrived first. Won’t come back unless the service changes.
Update- got sick about 30 minutes after eating my sushi and one of the servers was hiding in the bathroom stall most of the hour and a half we were here.

Sushi Hero is my go-to spot for sushi in Auburn. The sushi is always fresh and consistently comes out in a reasonable amount of time. It’s a reliable place when I’m craving a good roll or two. When my fiancé orders hot dishes like the fried rice or chicken, they usually take a bit longer to come out, but that’s understandable since those items take more time to prepare.
The only reason I’m not giving five stars is the service. It can be a hit or miss depending on which server you get. Some visits have been great while others felt a bit rushed or inattentive. Overall though, the quality of the food keeps us coming back.

The food was alright but they over charged us for some of our food it was also very dirty and they got the order wrong twice!! This was 80$ for two small sushi rolls and a lunch combo order!! They were not busy at all which is confusing as to why the order was wrong… the food was just not good and the service was awful it took two hours to get our food.

Ordered on DoorDash, they decided they didn't wanna make $30 dollars worth of my food and sent it anyway! Literally have checkmarks next to what they actually made and packed out. It took TWO hours to even be delivered. Horrid customer service that immediately blamed the dasher as soon as I called to complain. Real convenient that they didn't make the most expensive parts of my order. Go elsewhere, you will save your money!
We had the chicken teri roll, philly roll, gyosa sampler, and shrimp fried rice. Both sushi rolls were tasty with a nice ratio of ingredients. The gyosa sampler was fried well and is a nice way to try multiple fillings - all were good, the vegetable was probably my favorite. The shrimp fried rice has a unique, spiced flavor with a huge portion of rice with lots of shrimp, especially for the price. Good value overall!

They were so accommodating to us. My fiancé took me and our son here to enjoy an early dinner and EVERYTHING was 10/10. The first thing Lana did was greeted us and asked what she could cut the tv on to help entertain our son. TALK ABOUT TOP NOTCH SERVICE. Not to mention she was so kind and patient. I tried my first sushi ever (Lorenzo Roll) it was amazing. Not to mention the servings were great as well for the price. Thank you so much we will DEFINITELY be back.
Kid-friendliness: They even cut on my sons favorite show and brought him a little birdie AND helped him with his chopsticks.

We love good sushi and after living in Auburn for over 20 years had our couple favorite, which changed ownership and went bad. Tried several places to no avail. A couple of weeks ago went to Sushi Hero for lunch, and were impressed with the food, service, and reasonable price. It immediately became our favorite, and already went back several times. They know what they’re doing and hope they keep it up.
