Sushiya Japanese Restaurant

Food was delicious but wish they had other options for sushi. I'm a real big sushi fan due to being in Japan for 11 years. The service and atmosphere was great. I give it a five stars for being in the states and being close not same to what I would have got in Japan but overall great.

Excellent local spot for sushi. The staff is very nice and the place is quite clean. Nice sushi menu and price point is on par with area. Rolls are large and flavor is excellent. Highly recommend

This small spot is a good eat. I'd say one of the best sushi restaurants in Auburn flavor wise. People are friendly and they are relatively fast. It's a very small restaurant and at dinner it is very busy. It's not consistent with its dishes. Sometimes, I order the same thing, and it tastes different. The tuna appetizer is good, the sweet mango tower, ocean roll or flying sea monster.

This is hands down the best Sushi place in the South. The Ramen is also fantastic, service is impeccable and the booths are comfortable and secluded.

Great service and food but that manager needs to leave her employees alone. it’s very disturbing. Ive watched her yell at her employees very loudly almost every time I’ve been here. Its disrespectful and honestly disgusting hearing some of the things said. Treat your employees respectfully or I will document these occurrences and contact the labor department.

Their menu descriptions on DoorDash are not the same as what they serve. I ordered a tempura fried avocado and cucumber roll on the app. They say that it is not what they sale so there is nothing they can do.

Best sushi in the area. Good food, good service. I've come here probably 10 times and they've always done a good job. When it's busy you just gotta give them a minute. Nice folks.

This is the closest to 100% authentic Japanese you can find in Auburn. Clean atmosphere, great serving team. Try the Sashimi platters... Very nice
