We’ve been going here for many years for the best carnitas tacos in town! Chuy and his team make delicious, affordable food.

Food was delicious. Queso was especially good! Would like to see the dining room furniture in better shape next time we visit.

We tried this place on the recommendation of a local blog, Off the Eaten Path. I wanted to like it, but honestly, I didnt. Well, let me correct that, the cheese dip and chips were amazing. We will go back for just those. The flavors were not what we expected.
Not sure if that is because we are used to American style Mexican food, and this is more authentic Mexican food. The chicken was over cooked. The carne asada was tough although my son said it had good flavor. Given the disappointment in those two dishes, my wife was leery of trying the barbacoa. The service was slow, but that was actually a plus, because everything was prepared fresh. Doubt if we will return for anything other than the chips and queso.

You know when you walk into a restaurant and immediately know it’s gonna be fantastic? This is one of those restaurants. I’ve been struggling to find good eats in Auburn and I’m so glad I finally found a spot. Give it a try, you won’t regret it.

Yesterday we went to eat tacos and the sour sauces and the spoiled carnitas were horrible.

Great tacos and refried black beans. The salsa/toppings bar was a nice touch too.

I had amazing pastor carnitas and the frijoles were so great too. Love this little hidden gem in Auburn for authentic Mexican and I plan to try a lot more! Recommend!

I would give it 5 stars but the bread was all wet and the weather was very hot inside the store and the fruits and vegetables were already stale. It's a dream that I served while grabbing the bread without gloves and I was grabbing money, no, not like that, thank you, I hope it gets better ?

Went to the grocery store part and was very well stocked and had what I was looking for. The tacos are really yummy but kinda greasy so know that going in, whether they were the beef tongue or the chorizo, they all had a lot of grease but man it was a good guilty pleasure

Some of the best tacos I've ever had! The tortillas are so good, and the salsas are life changing. Every meat option I've ever had here so far is great, but the tripas are especially delicious and crispy! The tacos are loaded up with meat and have just the right amount of cilantro and onion to round it out. I've had the quesadillas and burritos as well and they are so delicious and filling. As a heads up, the website orders don't go through every time, so they recommend calling or just stopping in! Calling orders in is a breeze with them so I recommend that.
