Great place for drinks and food. Had a seriously good plate of meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and greens. Good service and food even when they are slammed busy. Make a reservation if anything is happening at the school

Our server was great, and she was very knowledgeable when it came to the food and drink menus. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the food was delicious. We had reserved a table for a large party. Aside from everything else, the only reason I gave it 4-stars was due to a young lady who came over to our table to tell us they needed the table for another party. Keep in mind, this was at 9:30pm and it was shortly after we had finished eating. After spending over $500 on a tab and traveling in from out of town, we found this to be quite disturbing and rude. The place was still packed with people, and per their hours of operation, the last reservation is scheduled for 9:00pm. Overall, we had a pleasant experience.

Had Sunday brunch for my wife's birthday. She had eaten there before but I had not. Love the casual atmosphere. Great service and the food we had was exceptional and reasonably priced. Will definitely return.

One of my favorite restaurants in Auburn. The burgers, meatloaf, and bacon flights are great. I've been a couple times for brunch and enjoyed all those options as well. Great selection of draft beer and bourbon too.

I am a 60-year-old Southerner who has had grits at many restaurants over the years. The grits here are by far the best I have ever had!

I’ve said it many times. When people ask me which is the best restaurant in Auburn, AL. It’s The Hound. If you have only one night to eat somewhere, go to this fine establishment.
As someone who travels extensively for a living and enjoys good food all over the country, the consistent high quality and value of what you’re paying is genuinely better than anything else in town. Others will disagree, but that’s okay — this is where the real action is. Never disappoints.
FYI - check out their Chubby Belly Night!

We had a group of 6 for the Chubby Belly takeover. We had a blast. The food was amazing. The only criticism would be that the items weren’t very hot when they arrived at the table. The spare ribs were tender and flavorful. The tomakatsu sandwich was perfect. The bulgogi tots were an amazing fusion. I loved this concept and hope to see this again or move Chubby Belly to its own restaurant!

A rustic-chic restaurant known for bourbon, bacon, and big flavors. I had the bison burger with duck fat fries — juicy and rich, perfectly paired with a local IPA. The bar has that cozy wood-and-leather look, and the staff make it feel like a small-town gem.

Came here while visiting from out of state for a football game. Our group of four was in opposing team apparel. On a game day we had a very fair wait and were treated kindly. Once seated our server was great. Friendly and attentive with well thought out suggestions. The food was great and was surprisingly fast. What a great place with true southern hospitality. Our family could not have been happier.
