A salad and a single side is not enough to say you have “vegan options”.
Ordered the Korean BBQ Bao and Bang Bang shrimp buns, and I can say with confidence that this are some of the best dishes out of a steamer that I have had outside of the powerhouses that are NYC and San Francisco.

I’m a born and raised foodie, and their brisket, egg, and cheese baorito is one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Mine took about 10 minutes to come out because they make them fresh to order, and it is so worth it. Absolutely delicious and something you can’t get anywhere else. Definitely come on a day it’s on the menu and give it a try.

You know what? For a small-town Asian joint in a college town, this place isn't half bad. They aren't afraid to use a clever title for their restaurant name despite its association with digestive issues (disclaimer: it didn't bother my typically finicky intestines at all). Serving up tasty cuisine that's much more authentic than those sketchy Chinese takeout places, their bao and dumpling game is strong!
While it's impossible to find a menu online, and their website consists of an Instagram page, this is the way the younger generation gets their information. And it works. The pork belly bao is relatively comparable to what I've eaten in China, so props to the cooks at IB!
Notice I'm not calling this dish "Bao buns" like everyone else which is typical language in the states. That's actually redundant as Bao in Chinese already implies a filled bun, literally translated as parcel or package. And there is no need to call it a "filled bun bun." Autocorrect is already on my case about that double wording! But I digress. Yes, if you're in Auburn, grab a tasty Asian snack here and you won't be disappointed.

We've been going here since 2019 and love stopping by whenever we're in town, and although the menu is always different, they do rotate some items so you can try something if you haven't yet or try to make plans the day before to go there if it's something you really enjoy, but I've never been disappointed with anything. I'm so glad they're options have expanded from just the baos to boba tea, to now side options and more!! The korean-style breakfast dish I had a few months ago was SO good, but I've always loved the baos. If the amazing food and hype from the owner isn't enough, their mission makes supporting this business so much better, and it really makes me feel good to support them knowing that they're helping young women in the community (single mothers & pregnant students), local businesses, and the poor kids in the Philippines ??

The bao I ordered was great and have had many great bao before! I got the "new" ginger salad that was described as having mixed veggies. This was just some iceberg lettuce with a couple of carret shreds and two pieces of hard purple cabbage. The dressing is good...salad ain't all that. Especially since that tiny thing was $4.99, lol. My bad for not just sticking with the bao...

My daughter and I came today for the first time. We had the chicken dip bao, the firecracker chicken bowl, ginger salad and the cinnabaos. Everything was absolutely delicious. The service was phenomenal. Everyone is very personable. The only thing we didn’t love the taste of was the coleslaw in the bowl. It was warm. But then again, we really are not coleslaw loving people. We have wanted to visit there ever since they opened and finally made it today before they closed. They never made us feel rushed or anything, even even though we arrived just before they closed. Their brown sauce was also absolutely delicious!!! Go, you will not regret it.

Stopped by on a trip to Auburn—one of the best and most authentic classic pork buns I’ve ever had in the states. Outshines all the Chinese food I’ve eaten in Birmingham for sure.
The owner, Whitley (sp?), was also super chill and really cool to talk to. 11/10 recommend
