I've been coming here for years. I always (perhaps unimaginatively) had the same thing: wonton soup off the regular menu, and homemade dumplings off the Chinese menu. Always hit the spot: the best dumplings west of Buford Hwy. Went in today and they'd "updated" the menu. The regular menu no longer features wonton soup, and they no longer offer the Chinese menu at all. The dumplings I had today (the only ones they have now) were not homemade, they were just typical generic any-Chinese-restaurant-anywhere dumplings. Don't know if I'll be back.

I’d say WOW!! I’ve been told that they changed their menu, I have to get a try. The MapoTofu is amazing!! If you like tofu with a bit spicy flavor, order it!

Terrific sautĆ©ed chicken. Delicious flavor, a nice level of spice. Super friendly folks running the place, quick service for takeout. I wish I lived near this place, I’d be here all the time!

ITS SOOOO GOOD, I never had a Chinese food like this good. Like it’s real Chinese food, I’ve been trying so many Asian food but they all like American style Chinese food, but this YES ITS THE ONE. I’ve only been to China one time and I miss Chinese food, I’m tried to find the Chinese Chinese food but I can’t before I came to village wok! I highly recommend! Yall should try!

Decided to try village wok this week after hearing they have new owners. It was amazing. I got the dry pot beef and loved it. Also tried egg rolls and they were clearly homemade. We’ll definitely be back!

Loved it!
The food was super tasty — I had the dry pot shrimp and dan dan noodles from their new menu, and both were absolutely amazing! The owner was so warm and friendly, and the prices are really reasonable for the quality. I’ll definitely be back to try more new dishes!

This is a great family-owned place. Don't let the small size push you away - in my opinion, the small size allows the kind-hearted woman to pay more attention to the people sitting down for a meal. The food is AMAZING (she makes homemade dumplings...YUM) and it's very reasonably priced. I had the General Tso's Chicken, and my family had chicken dumplings. I will definitely be back next time I am in town!

We tried this for the first time and were pretty disappointed with what we received for the price paid. The two beef entrees we ordered (beef amazing $ beef & broccoli, each about $10-12) was about 95% broccoli/veggies and 5% thin slivers of beef. We essentially paid $10 a pop for broccoli. So if you want what you pay for, DONT get beef entrees. Stick with chicken.

very friendly
