A good waffle house.

Today my service was great as always. I am a regular here and I've seen the staff has changed little bit however SAMUEL HAS GREAT SERVICE. MY EGGS WERE NICE AND TASTY AND MY GRITS WERE AMAZING. HE IS THE MANAGER AND HE DEFINITELY Deserves his position. Amanda was amazing as well. She was an amazing server as well

Came in for a waffle and some hash-browns, left with a black eye and a new girlfriend. I don’t recall much between 2:53-3:08 AM but the waitress said I held my own.

Waffle House always offers a good value. The only thing they don’t seem to get right is when I asked for my eggs over medium and they come out very runny with the whites not cooked, but other than that, I love their grits and of course love their waffles sausage patties are good bacon’s good. It’s a good value

I usually don’t leave reviews, but my recent experience at this Waffle House was too disappointing not to share…

Our server, Janet, was incredibly inattentive from the start. She didn’t offer to refill our drinks, never brought us straws, and overall seemed more interested in her phone than her customers. Throughout our meal, she walked around the restaurant with her phone on speaker, having conversations. Then proceeded to chat with coworkers about how she’s better than another employee and why she shouldn’t be fired. Totally inappropriate and uncomfortable to hear while trying to eat.

Despite the lackluster service, I still left a cash tip on the table and paid the check. When I didn’t add a tip to the receipt, Janet loudly complained to the entire restaurant that I didn’t tip, which was not only rude but completely untrue and unnecessary.

Even for Waffle House I expected better service when dining out - I will not be going back to this location.

Incredible Service & Hospitality! I cannot say enough great things about Waffle House #1035 on South College Street (Hwy 29 near I-85) in Auburn, AL! Our group of 22 hungry teenagers showed up out of the blue, and the team handled it like absolute pros. Dez, Elijah, and Eden went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, keeping the energy high, the service fast, and the food coming out hot and fresh. Despite the unexpected rush, they remained friendly, organized, and efficient, making sure every single one of us had exactly what we needed. The food was delicious (as always), but the outstanding hospitality made this visit truly special. If you’re looking for a great meal with even better service, this is the Waffle House to visit. Huge thanks again to Dez, Elijah, and Eden for making our experience so memorable! 10/10 recommend! Thank you again Dez, Elijah, and Eden! The servers are amazing BUT Daniel, the supervisor was just chilling and doing nothing while the dishes were piling up. IT WAS EXTREMELY BUSY. As a supervisor myself it's important to make sure you are not only managing your team but getting oin sometimes in the trenches to assist and make sure that your shift runs as smooth as possible. Thank you Tamia and Ms Lisa for seeing what was needed and acting as a supervisor should in times like this. Y'all are amazing. Daniel, sugar do better. Don't just stand there and watch because you have a position. That's sorry, lazy and shows you honestly don't care about your own crew. If corporate would only pay attention they would see that they have the wrong guy in charge in there. Do better. Not a good look on you and the company but the location being a high volume location..
