Small town doughnut shop with made fresh items. Cost fair for post covid pricing. Owner always on the front counter and always happy to see you. Try the cream or fruit filled doughnuts. They don't skimp on the filling. You almost sprain your wrist picking them up because they have so much filling. Fresh made coffees also. Dine in options just a few small tables. Gets busy right before school starts since it's located between 3 local schools.

Unfortunately we didn't get to try the doughnuts. We didn't get to experience the service and we didn't get to feel the vibe of the place. A notice of closure until 1/2 was written on the door but the hours were not updated on any site that we looked at. We were very disappointed. Update!!! The owner reached out to me!!! That was huge!!! So service is 5 . I really hope I get to try the doughnuts!!! The Mobile location is open.

I frequently bring my husband Sugar Rush Donuts on Saturdays at the shipyard. These donuts are so much better than Krispy Kreme or Dunkin’ Donuts. They are absolutely The best donuts around!!! My favorite donut shop because the donuts are exceptional and the service is fantastic!!!

Rolled in 10 friends deep and were greeted with smiles and recommendations. Vietnamese coffee was so good and all the donuts are delicious. Well done team! We will be back next vacation.

Sugar Rush Donuts in Bayou La Batre, AL, serves great donuts, but the owner's rudeness slightly dampens the experience unfortunately.

A racist owns this place!! Dont go there if you a Latina, and speak english as your second Language. Sure he has minorites working the counter for him, and they are nice, but how quickly the Happy Foreign Donut Man changes, over... are you ready for it.... the cost of two donuts... read on to see what real rasism looks like.. stop reading if you think racism is acceptable. 1. We enjoyed two strawberry donuts a few dats before. 2. We went back to get some more the next day. 3. They were out. 4. They said they would make us two the next day if we paid for them in advance. And they would call us to confirm they were ready. 5. We agreed. A few days went by, no call, no text, no messagec, and we forgot about it.. 6. We happened to drive by the shop and remember we had a ( 2 dinut credit) we were happy. 7. We went in to claim our donuts. 8. But the Donut Nazi.. would not have it. He went and got his employee to deal with us.. 9. She said I called you, no answer so we threw them out. 10. My wife was a little upset, as she said in here second language that she had not recieved a call. Again we are talking about an item who's total cost to the bakery is probably 8 to 10 cents ! 11. So the owner and the helper were going to STAND THEIR GROuND!! They said we will give you your donuts but you have to leave and NEVER COME BACK! 12. This was actually funny to me.. as the owner who's first language and race is clearly NOT a natural born citizen or from the USA , was going to belittle my wife out loud and in public over a cost of probably 9 to 12 cents! Great choice Sir. 13. He repeatily made fun of my wife's sweet sexy and soft accent... 14. All I kept thinking was man this guy is the most stressed out baker I've ever seen.. is he serious? He was.. the Donut Nazi was claiming victory.. he would show us just how tight his margins must be if he was afraid to miss his lease payment that month over two donuts ( which we pre paid for)!! 15. My wife wanted to protest a bit more than I, but look out if you cross a latina.. u better be ready... so this larger than average size baker kept the fight alive, as we left the store.. i just had to look back and feel sorry for him and laugh inside, for if two donuts are going to ruin me financially , no wonder he has anger and racist issues. So please.. GO There Buy A Lot Of Donuts! They are desperate for every single penny they make.. just dont pre-order them.. or they will kick you out and tell you to never come back! Lets see if the Donut Nazi deletes this 5 Star Rating.. what a delemia.. to delete or not to delete... Time to Make the Donuts Big Man.. Its your world there Sugar Rush.. I think you must be eating some Steriod laced donuts.. cause your one short tempered bakerman!
