Decided to give Bayou Waffle House another shot, and I’m glad to see some improvements. They’ve brought in new staff, and the service seems to have gotten better. Updating my review from one star (would have given zero if possible) to three stars. Hoping the positive trend continues—will see how it goes on my next visit.

always quick, easy, and hot take-out service that is friendly and filling. on my visit in tonight to pickup a mobile order, I mentioned it was very cold and they said their heater is broken, has been broken for a while, and they aren't allowed to plug up a space heater. they said is got almost to 30 degrees LAST night, when tonight is the first freeze night. very sad for the employees.
Can't go wrong with waffle House. I have never had a bad visit

Sat there for 20 minutes without even a drink. Watched them take people's orders who walked in after us because they were Togo. We were dining in. When I asked thr other waitress to take our order she began taking the togos that come thru online. Mind you we've been waiting 20 minutes at this point and togos that came in after us were leaving with food. Other customers leaving were complaining about the service. Never again. Been in the bayou for 4 years and will drive somewhere else before eating at this waffle house again.

We got there around 11am today and waited by the register to make a to go order. We were told they would get to us in a minute.
5 minutes later another customer gets by the register to make an order and they immediately took her order.
Our order was also wrong
