I’ve bee going to this location for years. I like the new remodel. The staff is friendly all the time. You don’t wait long to waited on and your waitress takes care of you with a cheerful smile. The food is great or at least the dishes I’ve had over the years.

Food was great. Wait staff was terrible. Came by saw we were out of water. Do you need anything? Yes water, we said. Ok. She goes straight back to a table by the kitchen and sits down. Never comes back. We had to track someone down to pay out.

My fiance and I came to Birmingham from out of state for a trip stopped and ate here. This applebees was the best by a mile from any other one I've been to. There server Christian was absolutely perfect on service with timing, professionalism, and with anything we needed
In addition, the food was absolutely perfect, no joke literally top 3 food of any restaurant I've ate at in my 29 years of living.
Very good place to eat, will definitely recommend this place to other people we know that come to Birmingham.

I don’t normally eat at Applebees but since it was close to home I decided to stop in. This location has a newly renovated look. Very modern, clean, neat and open. Service was terrible! I should’ve known it would be bad because we waited over ten minutes when we first arrived to be sat at a table. The menu variety was large, food still lack luster. It was very cold and our server must’ve left and gone home because we didn’t see him after he took our order, which he didn’t bother to write down and still got incorrect. The manager and another server attempted to help us but we still sat for extended periods of time with no service at all, empty glasses and waiting on a check. It’ll be more years before I return if ever.

There is never anyone at the drive through for mobile orders. Any time I arrive for an online order I wait longer than I should even if I walk inside. Servers and hostess are nice but management may not be up to par.

There were 8 of us. It took 45 minutes to get our drinks. Appetizers took an hour and fifteen minutes and didn’t all come out together. When the meals finally arrived 4 of them, steaks were inedible. The restaurant was not clean, very messy and tables were very sticky. We spoke to the manager and she did make things right with the bill.
