Place just isn't the cleanest. The food maybe ok. But the preparation and environment the food sits in is horrible. No different than most kfc or standard fat food resturant

I was a customer at the Hueytown location today (March 29th) around 12:15. I ate there and ordered a grilled salmon which was just amazing. The lady working the front register was also working the drive thru as well. She did an excellent job even though she was doing both she had a"(genuine) smile on her face. As busy as she was She made me feel like I was her only customer. She even brought my tray to the table with the sauces included. I forgot to get her name before I left so I called and asked if I could have the name of the cashier currently working ⁷and she was who answered my phone call. she was just as delightful over the phone as she was in person. Her name is Susan . Definitely a nice change from past experiences. Hopefully she is a permanent addition. She made my visit delightful.

Update ...Don't do drugs!!
... Update a year later, I dropped the 3 to a 1 star. The back line attitude caused my order to be wrong, tiny fish sticks... Back line was smoking pot last time and this time. Couldn't be bothered to do their job and be drug free. Does nobody do drug tests anymore? They would not give me my receipt back.

I used to say five stars. However, ever since the manager moved to a higher position, this store has not been that great. Just "normal."... if you call standard transactional service normal.

What I mean by that, is too often, you as a customer aren't seen as a person, or even as a number. You aren't even a shadow of a number sometimes. In this case, the cashier's attitude is usually "I'll never see you ever again, why should I care?"

That is what is wrong with many fast food restaurants.... Again, it used to be 5 stars. It will remain 3 or lower, until the attitude, culture is changed. This is clearly a hiring practices issue, because Chick-fil-A can manage to have its people be nice... Why can't everyone else?

It was busy on Sunday afternoon,restaurant was full but the food was terrible we could not eat the shrimp it was hard as a brick. Now considering the customer s in the place u would think any food would be fresh however the shrimp had been sitting under heat lamp for a while u could not chew it that's the last time we eat there with all the customers there shouldn't have been any food sitting around especially when we was told all they had was shrimp and fish.

My wife and I ordered a seafood feast that was supposed to come with 12 pieces of shrimp that we did not get!!! We have tried to get that shrimp and of course, after leaving the restaurant through the drive-through of course they’re not going to owe their mistakes!! If you can get your Captain D’s elsewhere that’s what I would do!!

The woman working the drive through line will steal your card info and wipe your account clean. This was the only place this particular card had been used in weeks and other people shared a similar experience after eating here. Getting food for the family has turned into a financial nightmare.
