I went through the drive -thru, I spent $19 for two people and the portions were so small. The catfish didn't look right, and the okra was severely undercooked. Once I looked in the boxes I ended up having to go back inside and let the staff know of the issue. The cook was notified and he came from the back to the front. He proceeds to ask what the problem was which I explained the above. He said that the okra is how he always cooks it because he doesn't want it overcooked and too crunchy with no regard to the okras appearance which screamed undone. I also mentioned the fish, and he offered to cook another piece and the okra. Once he returned both looked almost identical to what I already had in the boxes. I digressed, and got a refund back for the catfish dinner. It wasn't worth the money or the time I spent in the drive thru or on the inside fighting about it. Next time I'm looking for fish, I will look into other food establishment. This food trip was a waste of time and money.

The food is excellent quality and fresh! When you ask for extra sauce. They are not stingy about it! Because I love tortoise sauce especially captain d's and they did not disappoint, and they gave me quite a bit of sauce! If you're looking for a good seafood place for a reasonable price, this is the place to check out!

Went there on November 5 th was ignored for 8 minutes by two cashier's, a black couple came up to the counter and was immediately served, total racism, I used to own a restaurant and I would never tolerate that behavior, needless to say, I unassigned that order and as I was leaving a delivery person white male told me he had been waiting for 13 minutes. Keep doing this and your going to open yourself up to a lawsuit, guaranteed!

Have had no bad experiences at this location. It is slower than most, but, it gets busy fast in surges that can just appear from thin air it seems. I think they handle the crowds well considering.

Just ordered the grilled whitefish and shrimp skewer meal, and instead of fish I got 2 shrimp skewers, blatantly left my fish out and ripped me
They were very busy so i had to wait for my order. The cashier was mostly friendly. i think maybe they were just so busy that she was tired. But my fish was great. Im not crazy about their stuffed crab and for my the butterfly shrimp had to much breading. But cole slaw, hush puppies and fish were good.
Food always good. The cashier had a nasty attitude. If all captain ds had a cashier like her you wouldn't have any customers there. This was in hueytown,al. And it was on a Saturday around 2:30 /3:00pm. And I don't live in bham. I came to visit my family an we went there to eat.

I visited your store in Hueytown al on July 4 around 4:30I got 2 piece fish and shrimp meal it was terrible everything tasted like it was left over from previous day. Food was dry not hot and it tasted old. I love captain d's. Very very very disappointed. I will not return.

So it eat 9:01 at night and they close at 10:00 and we get the speaker and he going to say sorry the car in front of u was the last order of the night then I go to Fairfield captain D’s it was 9:23 they was still take order and food want out fast and fresh.
