China Sea Is now China Garden... The food was pretty good, it was fresh and presented well for takeout. I got the sweet and sour chicken lunch special with shrimp fried rice instead of the plain fried rice that comes with the special. The cost was $12 and that's probably because I upgraded my fried rice to shrimp fried rice and the shrimp were the biggest that I've ever seen in fried rice. The food was fresh with a nice flavor. The egg roll was so good that it didn't even make it home. I called my order in and it was ready on time. The service was good, and they were friendly. The building is old so the dining area is a little old and dark...I'm not sure if I'd want eat in, but my take out experience was nice. The bathrooms were clean but had old fixtures. The only reason that I didn't give them 5 stars was because they didn't include any utensils or napkins.

We love this place! We consistently get fried rice, sesame chicken, egg drop soup, and egg rolls. It's delicious every time! Their chicken isn't swimming in sauce, it's just enough.

At first I was Skeptical, but I was very impressed with the with food considering the price after the fact, the sauces taste made in house, the Fried rice is the OG style! Peas carrots onions! Very good, will return!

When this restaurant was named China Sea, it was a great place to get Chinese food in the Hueytown area. I called an order in last night for Mo Goo Gai Pan about 45 minutes before they closed . The food was horrible. The sauce was more like just plain tap water with very little flavor, very little chicken, tons of undercooked carrots, mushrooms, baby corns & bamboo shoots, the rice was not completely tender. It was probably the one and only time that I have gotten takeout from that location and not enjoyed it. When I arrived to get my order the man behind the counter told me the price was $18 & some change. For 1 order of Moo Goo Gai Pan & 2 egg rolls. (The egg rolls were good but much smaller than they have been in the past) I'm not one to normally complain about price increases because I completely understand that a business has to make a profit & most small business owners have been struggling to stay open these last couple years & have had no other choice than to increase prices, so yeah I get it, but the food that I got last night wasn't worth $5.00 much less $20.00. Also when I handed the man behind the counter the cash to pay for my food he simply says to me thank you, puts the money in the drawer but never even offered to give me any change back. Granted I had every intention to tell them to keep the change when I walked in to pay but to not even offer to give a customer their change back is considerably rude behavior. Lucky Panda will be my choice for Chinese food in the future. There's entirely too many other options to consider to just settle for mediocre.

The management charged me for a Dinner which comes with an Egg roll and rice. And they gave me the lunch that doesn't come with the two sides. And then the Management argued with me when I showed them the receipt and their own Menu. So. I will not buy their food again. Over their actions, and the fried rice isn't that good anymore there anyway.

The house lo mein was bland with no real flavor and the meats in the lo mein were minimal at best. I ordered a lunch to go and the restaurant didn't even include silverware. I had to ask for soy sauce three times just to get 5 packs of sauce. I don't recommend this place especially for the prices.
