Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

I ordered curbside service for the two nights I was in the area. The first night the food was 15 minutes past the promised time, but was delivered curbside. The second time I waited 20 minutes and finally went in where I saw my food sitting on the counter. I asked to have the gratuity I had added removed from my bill as I had not received any service. She referred me to a manager who apologized for the inconvenience and admitted they’ve had issues with their curbside delivery and comped my meal. I appreciate them doing the right thing but it’s still took over 30 minutes more than I had planned on spending of my evening.

A few things went wrong here.

The hostess looks so miserable I almost asked if anything was wrong.

The NY steak was a very thin cut and they overcooked it.

The biscuits were dry and stale.

The server looked at the receipt for a minute before handing it to me and walking away. She had overcharged me, and I had to point it out before she said "That's what I was looking at too..". Why give it to me then?

My Experience Was terrible. The Lady that Escorted Me To My Table Didn't Even say Hello. I Had To Get her Attention Before She Even Said Anything. She was Looking Right At me. Then when I Sat Down My waitress Didn't Even Give Me Rolls. I Had To Ask For Them. That's Normally the First Thing They Give You. This Was A Terrible Experience. I Don't Think I'll be Going Back To That Cracker Barrel.

Order wasn't correct,half the order came,had to wait on part of the order and around my house wr all eat at the same time,which means most of our food was cold.

Upon entering we were greeted with a smile and friendly attitude. It went down hill from there after being seated the staff brought over the menu the menu stuck to the table. After requesting it to be wiped. The food was brought out. My beef tips were way over cooked so much so they could have bounced. My wife and I ordered the same thing except she got ham that was dried out. The eggs were done right. The grits she brought out looked like they had been sitting out for the night. The gravy was supposed to be enough for 2 but barely enough for 1 biscuit. And it looked like grits. This place has moved to the bottom of places I would consider going to if other places were open for what we wanted. Waitress Aubrey, did the bare minimum. Asked if everything was ok as she was passing by and did not listen to the response. We were not afforded an opportunity for the situation to be fixed.
The greeter and cashier were fabulous. Cook and waitress were horrible.

Wheelchair accessibility: Good parking, flat entrance, could benefit from automatic door button for independent handicap accessibility. You'd need to depend on the kindness of strangers to hold both sets of doors at the entrance.

Very smokey from the fireplace being stirred up. It burned our eyes and irritated our noses. Food was great! Service was slow. Not the best experience compared to what CB usually has.

Dietary restrictions: Low sodium options and low fat options would be very helpful. Love the Impossible Sausage! Grilled chicken fingers are low fat but too salty. Turnip greens & pintos are a little salty but so good!

I got a vegetable plate and the food was very bland, green beans looked & tasted like they just came out a can, not like they used to. Carrots not a lot of taste either. Okra was fairly good. Cold slaw (after I doctored it up some) was the best then on my plate. This trip was very disappointing sorry!!

My visit to Cracker Barrel was a pleasant experience, and I’d definitely go back. The service was splendid, with friendly and attentive staff making sure everything was just right.

I started off with an iced water and a mocha iced coffee, which was smooth, rich, and had a nice balance of sweetness. For an appetizer, the fried pickles were crispy, well-seasoned, and served fresh. My main dish, the Crisp Tender Dippers, was a solid choice—the tenders were crunchy and juicy, and the honey mustard, maple chipotle, and Nashville hot sauce each added their own unique kick of flavor. I also had a side of mac and cheese, which was creamy and comforting, though nothing extraordinary. The Oreo cheesecake pancakes were a sweet and indulgent treat, perfect for wrapping up the meal.

Overall, the food was good, and the atmosphere was cozy as always. While not perfect, everything was enjoyable, and the excellent service made the experience even better. I’d give it 4 out of 5 stars, and I’ll definitely be coming back!

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a Cracker Barrel. Service was not warm and friendly, our server was not at all conversational and just there to take our order and bring our food. The food looked like cheap school cafeteria food served at room temperature. We ordered the chicken fried steak with Mac and cheese. The steak was fried in very old oil and was overcooked by a lot. The mac and cheese had a large chunk of the burned bottom layer of the pan right on top and in plain view. It amazes me that visually it looked disgusting and they were okay to serve it anyway. I can definitely say I have lost my confidence in this company.

Door dashed from this location. Wanted apple butter to go with my biscuits that were already overpriced, and they wouldn’t give it to the dasher without charging him. For a little ass thing of apple butter. Insane.
