El Comal | Mexican Restaurant

I went to pick up an order, when I got home, there was no sauce for the chips and the tacos barely had meat in them. I call, and the lady that took care of me caught an attitude and told me she had not put sauces intentionally. EVERYTIME she is there, I'm over charged and there's a problem with my food. It's so annoying, anywhere else I get a good meal for $12 but here.

Service was exceptional. My drink was never empty, and everything was taken care of in a timely and professional way. The food was good too. I got lunch fajitas, and I was surprised by how much meat was on the plate. I wish they had been more generous with the guacamole and sour cream though. Only got about a tablespoon of each. They could have better tasting beans, too. There was no maillard on the meat either. It tasted good, but they could have bumped the heat a bit to sear it better. The atmosphere was pretty good, but the music kept dropping in and out. Seems like spotify must have been buffering. While that's not their fault, it was super distracting.

Can’t rate the food for the lack of service. I sat at the bar for 16 minutes and was never addressed. Nice Mexican atmosphere but I don’t know if it’s good or authentic Mexican food

Really great food! They give you big portions, so you won't leave there hungry. Try the shrimp chimichanga, it's delicious!

Very disappointed to leave a bad review because the food is usually good. I've had issues with being over charged on my check. The first time I raised issue I simply let it go and ultimately chalked it up to a language barrier. Now that it's happened a second time, I'm just done. Good food, bad service. Will not be returning and would not recommend

We walked in here several months ago and did not realize it was a different restaurant from 2 years ago. I’m not real big on Mexican food. However this is my new favorite place to eat. Drinks are awesome as well!
