Full Moon Bar-B-Que

I went through drive thru at lunch today. Ordered bar b q beef sandwich. I asked for it to be the lean cut and chopped. What I got was fatty and sliced. By the time I took the fat off I had half a sandwich for $12. I wasn’t too happy.

We were in Birmingham for a business trip and decided to stop by for dinner. The atmosphere was nice and had that classic Southern BBQ feel, and I really enjoyed the BBQ sauce. However, the overall experience could have been better — the customer service felt a bit unfriendly, and while the pulled pork and mac and cheese were decent, the corn tasted old and wasn’t very enjoyable. Overall, an okay meal, but not one I’d go out of my way for.

Complete waste of $45! Ordered the smoked wings with buffalo sauce. We ordered them to go. We got home we each at one and then threw the rest in the trash. They were waaayyy over cooked and the flavor was disgusting! If that's their version of buffalo it's gross!

There's this one young cashier that always has a good spirit about him on & off the register helping. Next time I'm sure to call out his name. 👋

Kayden and the team demonstrated professionalism and courtesy throughout the service. They also checked in to ensure our satisfaction. While the food's quality did not fully meet expectations, specifically the Greek salad's presentation and the lukewarm temperature of the pulled pork and baked beans, this was my initial experience. I plan to revisit the establishment before making a final assessment.

food is always excellent, hot and delicious. service is always great, usually not much of a wait to get food. conveniently located near stores and other restaurants.

I will say that the food smells fantastic! And as a delivery professional, the orders are typically ready in on time and are complete and accurate.

Hit or Miss on portions, quality. Purchased whole slab of ribs a few times, very small and not a lot of meat, dry. Sandwiches are generally very good. Average to slightly below average staff. Mostly teenagers there for a check.

I ordered a chicken baker no pork and I was given one with bacon and the. When I bought it back to store after getting home I got another one and it was not fully done. It was hard as a brick.

I don’t understand why would you give this to anyone. I asked for 1/4 dark plate with 2 thighs, I couldn’t even get a full size drumstick. I guess presentation doesn’t mean anything. Always check your order at this location. It’s going to be a hit or miss. Today it was a miss!

We recommend for dine in and take out. We enjoy the pulled pork sandwiches, ribs, and recently the burgers and fries. The service is great. The burgers are thick, juicy, cooked just right, taste like real beef! The fries taste like real potatoes. The sweet tea is great!

Revised 8-24-25 tea good, fries OK, hamburger is horrible. Like Walmart frozen. Tasteless, thin, formed.

Thank you, thank you, thank you Tristen! Our department lunch was a success! The lunch bags per person was a hit and everyone had PLENTY of food. The food was fresh and still warm from time of pick up to destination. We appreciate the Full Moon team working with us from beginning to end. Everyone was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable of what needed to be done to get the job done in a timely manner. We will definitely order from you again and I will refer my friends and family to use your catering services.
