My family was in town for the weekend and found this spot near our hotel. They were pretty busy at the time we arrived. Even with the crowd, the food was prepared fairly fast, and the food was fresh. There are a lot of options to choose from on the menu. The prices were great, as was the amount of food you get for the price; I was pleased. I ordered the 6pc wet Cajun ranch wings with 1pc cash fish. The flavor of the wings was mid, and the fish was swai/basa, not actually catfish. It was fried hard, which wasn't too bad, and seasoned well. The fries were good. I also ordered a large side salad. I enjoyed what came in it: pickles, tomatoes, cheese, and I had to put my onions on the side. The lettuce could have been a bit more crisp, but overall it was good.

I gave four stars for service because the young lady who took our order was dry. Not rude, you're bothering me, dry. More like, I'm tired, we just got out butt handed to us. I genuinely understand the dryness. As a food industry veteran, I get it. I was overlooking it because she was informative and helpful. The interaction didn't sit well with my companion. You will enjoy the food! Just know that everywhere is not Chick-fil-A.

Food was great service was good. Burger done right the ole fashion way. Full 1/4 pound patty, all the fixings, cooked just right. Amazing didn't know people still had the knowledge of ole fashioned burgers.

My boyfriend got me to try their hot wings. When I first tried the wings they were so good. Where I live I haven’t been able to find real good hot wings. Every wings place I tried, the hot wings wasn’t exactly hot they taste like mild. J ‘s wings are the only wings I tried that are actually really good and very hot just like I like it.

I was visiting from Florida and my experience here was everything. The people were kind and welcoming. Our food was fresh and fast. I enjoyed it so much I ate there 3 times. You know the food is good when you can eat it hot or cold and it’s still great. I had to leave a great review because this location was just that, GREAT

This is James, wings were crispy smothered in a long list of sauces that will please anyone. Fries are great with a Cajun sauce, or without the sauce with some seasoning. If you're near Academy Drive, support Ken and the staff and eat at J Wings.

Food is always delicious… delicious wings.. fish.. Miss Ma’am at the service counter needs to work on her customer service skills though. It doesn’t take much effort to be friendly.. smile. At least make paying customers feel appreciated… welcomed. I had a take out order and still got an unwelcoming attitude.

Don't let the exterior fool you. The food is amazing, hot, and fresh. I've had burgers, catfish, chicken sandwiches, wings, fries - all were delicious. Definitely worth giving this local joint a try.
