I have eaten here since they opened in McCalla and never had an issue until today. The guy at the counter was asked to take our order. As I stand waiting to order, he never acknowledged me and started talking to the gentleman behind me. I continue to wait and finally asked him was he ready to take my order since he was not going to acknowledge my presence. Needless to say I walked out because I want patronize any business who treats me with the dignity and respect I deserve as a customer. We went to Takoyaki and received phenomenal service as always. I will not be back to Ninja

My granddaughter wanted to eat here. When we walked in, it was empty. I told her if there aren't any customers then the food is bad and true indeed it was awful. I hate to pay good money for bad food. This was the worst I've had in a while. I never write reviews but please don't go there. You will be so disappointed

Katie was our server. She was AMAZING. We came at lunch-time Thurs. June 27 (2024) around 12:30
We ordered 4 rolls. Only received 3. They were delicious nonetheless.
But the dark/short haired lady wouldn't SHUT UP. There were only 7 people dining. She talked louder than everyone together PLUS more volume. Was louder than all 7 people AND the music. Good LORD.
This ruined the entire experience and it obviously distracted the sushi guy because he never finished making our food. I don't regret tipping Miss Katie.... But I regret dining in having to listen to this woman.

Went to eat for my daughter's birthday. We were asked if we wanted booth or grill. We asked for grill. Then they brought our food out totally prepared. I asked the waitress why they didn't come out and cook in front of us. She said all the cooks are off on Tuesdays. She walked off and got to go boxes and put them in front of us, rushing us out. I hadn't even taken one bite of my food before to go boxes we brought. I told manager about all this and he didn't care. Why would you offer us a seat at a grill and not cook on the grill in front of us!?! I mean someone cooked the food in the back obviously, so there is a cook there. What's the point of advertising as a hibachi grill! Those plates are so expensive because you are also paying for the entertainment. Waitress should've said when we walked in that they would not grill in front of us. My daughter was very upset. They also said they closed at 8pm even though 10pm is printed on the glass window. We will never go back.

Let me begin by saying that I never leave reviews for restaurants, even when I didn’t enjoy the experience. This experience was so exceptionally bad that I can’t not write one.
The server was friendly and attentive. None of this was her fault whatsoever. It was a case of (mostly) terrible food and really bad management.
We ordered pork gyoza and two plates of chicken katsu. The gyoza were delicious. The entrees, however, including the salad and soup that come with them, were terrible. The salad consisted of iceberg lettuce that was somehow both wet/soft and frozen at the same time. The soup tasted like fish had been boiled in it. The first few bites of the chicken katsu were mediocre and tasteless. I kept eating, hoping it would get better. It got worse. I bit into a piece of chicken that was so rubbery I couldn’t fully bite through it. I tried another piece, and it was even worse than the previous one.
When I told the server I wasn’t going to eat the food, she sent the manager over. She came over ready to pounce. She immediately said I’d eaten more than half of the chicken (I had not; I had eaten about 1/5 of it). She then said that it was just a matter of taste and that the chicken was cooked the way that Korean people like to eat it (this is a lie; I’ve had tons of chicken katsu before, and none of it had the consistency of rubber). I told her that I would pay for the whole meal but that I still wasn’t going to finish it and wanted her to know how terrible the chicken was. She refused to acknowledge how poor the quality was, telling me the chicken was delivered fresh daily. She finally offered to discount the meal by 50% but proceeded to tell me it was just because my taste buds were not suited to Asian food.

I ordered the Yaki Soba with shrimp. It was a good sized portion and very tasty.
if you want your fish to be old and cause stomachaches this is the place for you! Horrible sushi and bland fried rice. the fish was not fresh at ALL tasted days. Not one to leave reviews but… I DO NOT

There was hair in the food, the manager was rude about the situation, never apologized , gave an 20% discount , the server didn’t replenish our drinks , but replenished the drinks of other guest that was at the table, the server also took a long time to return to the table so all the guest had to grab their own to go boxes
