Speedy’s Mexican Restaurant is a fantastic place to eat. The taco salad was perfectly crispy and absolutely delicious. The customer service was awesome from the moment I walked in. I was welcomed with a beautiful smile, the place was clean, and the atmosphere felt relaxed and comfortable.
The food is so good that I happily drive 44 miles round trip just to get more of that good old fashioned cooking. I come from a family of great cooks, and when I say Speedy’s food is good, I truly mean it. I’ll definitely be back for more.

This food is far from the original Speedy's on Lomb Ave. The meat is minced. The shells are not crispy. Not the same flavor. New comers have no clue as to how good it used to be.

I got the nachos and a taco off DoorDash and it was HORRIBLE. The food was cold as if it was pulled right out of a fridge, the chips were soggy looking and the food was bland w/ no taste. The white cheese also had a very bad aftertaste as if it was being reheated multiple times. Ignored all of that and literally 4 chips in, I was throwing up.

Hate to do this. I have been eating from Speedys close to 20 years now. I have always been treated nicely and felt appreciated for my patronage. Until today. There is a younger skinny white lady with glasses who was working the window and once I pulled up to the window it was very clear that she did not like serving a black man. I handed her my debit card and spoke simultaneously. She looked me directly in my eyes and twisted her face, almost frowned without saying a word. So I kept my eyes on her because I know that hateful people have no limit to what they are capable of doing. When she handed me my food and debit card I intentionally said, “Thank you ma’am”. Once again she looked me in my eyes and frowned without saying a word. Managers, be careful with that young lady. She might need to find a job where she only have to deal with people like her. Don’t let her ruin your establishment.
