So my experience, this was the first time I've ever been to this place, but it will not be the last time!I was greeted outside by a guy that worked there and I'm going to go ahead and apologize to both the guy that said something to me that worked there and then also to the girl she was a bartender and both of those people were to the nicest people that have ever gotten to meet and I'm not talking about you know they're the nicest people like I know him personally, I'm saying the way that they introduce themselves in the way that they went beyond kindness for a complete stranger that they hadn't talked to for 3 minutes total, but when I pulled in I couldn't get it out of the car before he was saying hello and how was I doing... I thought he was just a patron, come to find out the guy worked there.. no I'm not saying they've got somebody stationed outside to do that but he was outside and since he was outside he was still an employee outside... You greet people when they walk in the door but if you're outside he greeted me outside I couldn't get out of the car quick enough!He asked me if I've ever been there and he said that it was an amazing place and he enjoyed it there and I mean he started talking to me and encouraging me to get things and to look around.. I was just kind of blown Away at first because I thought well maybe he was just happened to be outside and maybe he does that to everybody I don't know, but the very first impression I got was I kind of wanted to be there because I didn't feel like a guy just walking into a bar I felt like hey this is going to be a good experience!Then I got to meet the bartender, apologies for not being able to remember her name either I've never met these folks and I wasn't there you know 15 minutes so, I apologize for not knowing their name but, I was talking to them and they stopped what they were doing, stopped cleaning.. you don't normally bartenders will talk cuz they're doing other things and that's how you get stuff done however, they stopped what they were doing to walk over to me and listen to me and now what I was saying wasn't anything important or anything of value, I was just talking! however they made it a priority to listen. This was one of the greatest experience I had walking into a place that I've never walked into before seeing people I've never seen before and just automatically feeling like that's my spot.So whoever the owner is of this place, kudos to you because that was a bunch of positive in a world full of negative and I walk into bars all the time and it's not that they do anything wrong but you just you're another customer, not here, not here definitely! Because at this place, the hangar bar and grill, you're more than a number you're more than a customer you're more than money, here you walk in maybe feeling one way but I can guarantee you how you'll feel when you walk out. This was the greatest experience I had walking into a place I've never been to seeing people I've never seen and feeling like a million bucks when I left 15 minutes later, these people got it right and to whoever owns this, job well done dude these two people that were in there that night and they'll know who they are but, there's nothing more I can say because there's no other words I've got to describe it, great experience great job you are the best and I will be back!!!Parking: It's a big enough parking lot that if you're ready to get to the bar, they'll have a spot waiting on you!Wheelchair accessibility: It's all one level so you're good to go bring your wheels and I'm sure you'll get written a ticket for rolling In too fast

A friendly neighborhood dive bar tugged away in the middle of nowhere (next to the Bessemer airport) that offers live music on the weekends (wed-sat), bingo, and sporadic special events (crawfish boil, corn hole tournament, football parties, ..) Check their FB page for events. Spacious outdoor area with stage and a small stage inside.No drought beer and the craft beer selection is very limited but workable.

No food on Sundays. 10 to 4 weekdays, but none of that is posted anywhere online on at the location. My wife and I stopped by for lunch, lots of people around, but no food service, only bar. Should post this somewhere so folks don't drive all the way out there to be disappointed.

Food was pretty good. Had burger and onion rings. Burger tasted homemade! Entertainment, Tabb and Mojo, was excellent. Wide range of songs for all ages and types of music.Kid-friendliness: Kids were there.

The Hanger Bar and Grill is a hidden gem tucked away on the Bessemer Airport property. The cheeseburgers are consistently awesome and the onion rings are huge! They have a patio space where you can enjoy your food while watching the planes takeoff and land, and live music in the evenings. We came to lunch a little late in the day and Mr. Moody was incredibly kind and accommodating- we loved chatting with him and getting to know more about the bar and some of their upcoming events!
