First time visiting the one in Hueytown! It was GREAT! BEST gyro salad!! Service was great. Will be back!

I stopped in with some people after a meeting and it was a clean place with a very kind young lady at the register. My friends’ had chicken kabobs combos, and one had wings with the best onion rings you ever tasted. I had the best lamb pita wrap this side of heaven. It was enough to have a wrap to eat the next day. The meat was so tender, and flavorful I couldn’t believe it! I will definitely be going back again. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for great food 💙🔥💙🔥

My husband and I stopped by today for the first time, being that we're going out of town & enjoy Mediterranean dishes.
Unfortunately, my rice appeared to have been slightly UNDERcooked.
Pricing was a little high in general, but overall food quality was good.
Service was super fast, especially considering that there was only 1 known cashier at the moment & it became busy rather quickly.

The Purple Onion in Hueytown is one of the best spots! It's a great sit down place, very chill, they have amazing food, and the lady who works the front is super nice! Highly recommend!

The lady who works the FOH is fantastic. She knows everyone and remembers your order. She is calm and courteous to all. The food is fresh and cooked to order, but she is reason I go back every week!

The food was terrible, the gyro had 2 pieces of meat, teaspoon of sauce, no veg. The chicken was total nasty, sorry to say, shouldn't serve anything you wouldn't eat.

On the outside, this place doesn't look like much; however, the menu is filled with an abundance of options. Definitely vegetarian friendly which is a huge plus for me. My husband could get a burger and I got my falafel pita wrap with a side of broccoli all in the same place.
So if you are looking for a variety that can please the entire family, you might want to stop by.
