We eat at WH because it's consistently good usually regardless of where we are. We'd never eaten at this one before. Atmosphere was good and other patrons and staff were all friendly and smiling, but the food was not great. Idk if WH has changed something or if it's just this location. Grits were dry. Waitress handed me two things of butter and told me it was for my grits, which was odd as no one has ever given (nor needed to give me) butter to add to my grits. Even with both butters added, they were dry and relatively tasteless. I told my bf I wished I'd gotten hashbrowns and he said they weren't great either and tasted "off". Neither of us finished our meal. I really hope it's just this store and not company-wide changes to save money. We've noticed at our last few visits that they no longer give jelly unless you ask specifically for it. So I wonder if they are cutting flavor to save costs.

I was seriously impressed when we went there Sunday afternoon. My medium-well eggs were perfectly done... And most people can't seem to do that. The staff was friendly and accommodating, but not intrusive. Food was excellent. This experience really changed my mind about "Awful" House.
I'm really looking forward to going to this Waffle House again this weekend. Hope the same staff is there and the experience is just as good.

Had the worst service here today. Waitress paid zero attention to me and my husband. I ordered a waffle extra dark and never got it. Waitress totally forgot about it. I had to leave because I had to drive an hour to go get my kid. Left without eating and she asked my husband if our checks were together or separate. She was clueless. I could understand if she was busy, but we were her only table. Didn’t get her name, but her name tag said she had been there since 2018, so she should know better.

That was my first and last visit to that Waffle House location. I have never been treated so rudely and disrespectful at any other Waffle House! When we arrived, there weren't any empty tables. After 2 to-go orders left, we were the only ones waiting. Not once were we acknowledged by any of the staff while we waited. After 10 minutes, the people at one of the tables left. We watched as the staff tended to the customers, taking new orders and delivering food. After another 10 minutes, other customers were also waiting. We decided to sit at the vacated table, even though it hadn't been cleared. Again, none of the staff acknowledged us. We finally got the attention if Amber who told us it wasn't her section and our server would be with us shortly. Another server who had walked past us several times finally acknowledged us. She berated us for seating ourselves and said, "You wouldn't just seat yourself at Olive Garden." She continued to speak to us very distespectfully, while her co-workers chimed in. We gathered our things and left. We went to the Trace Crossings Waffle House where we were immediately greeted with multiple friendly faces.

The Staff completely treated us as if we were invisible. We stood for 10 minutes waiting on a table to be bussed. The staff never acknowledged our presence. We eventually seated ourselves, after which we were still ignored. I finally tried to get the attention of the staff. I was then given a lecture about how I should not have sat at that table before it was bussed. I've never experienced that kind of service.
