We chose Captain D's in Boaz and I just wanna say our meal was absolutely amazing, it was fresh, hot and so tasty! The lady who took out order was very kind! She made the whole transaction great! Great job guys! We believe this store may single handedly be the reason the whole franchise is still in business!

Ordered through the drive through. 1st issue was had a bug leg on a piece of fish. 2nd issue was I ordered lobster rolls with no lettuce. The lobster rolls came out with lettuce on them. 3rd issue was I ordered clam strips and butterfly shrimp appetizer. Looked like they gave me just scraps. Had a couple pieces of shrimp and very little clam strips. Took it back and told manager Sonya about the issues. She laughed at the issues. She did give a refund after I said I wanted money back. Very disgusting and unprofessional. The health department should go in and make inspections.

We ordered 2 of the $5.99 meals and 2 drinks and the total was $20.55. Which was higher than we normally pay. When he gave me 2 giant drink cups @ $5.98, as best that I can see this light receipt, that explained it. I told him that we wanted smaller drinks and he said that was the smallest they had. We paid and sat down and ate. We noticed another couple come in and they had the smaller cups that we usually got. I complained and got the run around. I feel like we were scammed. We won't be dining in there again.

Service was terrible. Went thru the drive thru. Took over 20 minutes to get food. Evidently, owner likes to run a short staff. Batter on fish was too hard. You asked the questions. Want be back. Should have gone to Guntersville.

You guys need some help BADLY. I waited 30 minutes and didn’t get to order. I finally just left. The thing is when I got there the only person you could see working was the person taking drive thru orders no one else anywhere with a line inside and a line around the building. He finally said where’s my help at and they finally emerged to help him.
I made my last trip to the Boaz Captain D’s. The food is usually good, but unless the manager or employees start doing a better job of managing the drive-thru, this location will be closing down. I waited 20 minutes this afternoon to give my order. I said “Hello” a couple of times to make sure they knew cars were in line. After sitting in the drive-thru line for a total of 25 minutes, I pulled out of the line without giving my order. I pulled around and went inside. People were standing around waiting on food, so I walked out. The restaurant next door got my business, and I went through their drive-thru in less than five minutes. This wasn’t the first time I’ve had a long wait, but it’s the last.

5 ⭐️ for the employees working today (6-09-2024). They managed to cook and serve a house full of people and a nonstop drive thru with so few hands. Y’all deserve a lot of recognition for how hard you work and your dedication. ??

We went out for a late mother's day and the cashier made our outing a nightmare. First I asked for a deluxe seafood platter but wanted a sub, I wanted an extra piece of fish instead of shrimp. She told me they can sub everything but the shrimp and suggested another dish. I told her that I don't want another dish and told her that I have subbed the shrimp before. Then she repeated that she couldn't sub the shrimp and I said ok well just give me the deluxe seafood platter and told her my side choices. Then she proceeded to suggest another plate again so I told her again that I don't want her suggestion. Then she told me that I don't need to be rude. I was frustrated because I just told you my order and instead of LISTENING she suggested something that I had zero interest in. I wanted to leave but didn't because my son wanted to do something nice for me. Then the soda we paid for was flat and that frustrated me even further. If I could give zero stars for service I would. ?

Under staffed, manager was stressed out and huffing and puffing while waiting on customers. Waited like 15-20 minutes on my food that was over priced and look like slop. The salmon was over cooked and WAY over seasoned. WAY to salty. Bread stick was hard as a rock. Highly disappointed.

I don't come here regularly. Most of the time when I order, there are two sides. Today I ordered a $5.99special. No soda or tea. I was unaware that two sides for this was $2.99 each, considering they weren't premium sides. Therefore my bill was over $13.00. I'm sure there are a number of ppl who come here regularly and know these things. I'm not one of them. Either way, I'm very disappointed with the service considering I had mentioned as much when I came in. That I came here because your prices match the meal. Probably won't come back for sometime and I will let others know. Be careful when ordering here. Know everything before telling them. They won't point it out. It'll be your loss if you don't.
