Highly recommend Pappys Lion's Den! We were looking for a meat & veggie place when we moved here...we found Pappy's! The food is delicious, the desserts are yummy, the staff is friendly and outgoing...no stuffy people work here! Service with a smile even when they are packed! Jazz & Barry are wonderful people! They let their customers know they appreciate them. We go every Sun for chicken & dressing with all the fixins! Oh & you've got to try their cornbread muffins!! We've been known to go more than once a week. ..the atmosphere is that friendly and inviting! Stop by and tell them table #17 sent you 😉

We stopped here on the way home from Untamed Mountain and enjoyed everything we had. Service was great. This is obviously a popular local spot as almost everyone that came in was known by name by the staff there. Hubby had the burger and commented on how it was obviously hand pattied. It was juicy and delicious. I had the meatloaf, mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese all of which put me right back into my mama’s kitchen. Our kiddos had the cat fish strips which were devoured. We will definitely be back while in the area!

The Great Turbana
I love this place. They have a great grilled chicken salad. Due to allergies I could not eat most of what is on the menu but it all looked and smelled delicious. Expect to wait because they are a popular eatery.

My husband and I were there at 12:00 with a group of 15 and still had not received our meal by 1:30 (ordered off the wall menu) so we left. One person with basically the same order received his 30 minutes before we left and one couple received theirs an hour before us.

I enjoy eating here very good service and food.id like to suggest for someone to have family style dinners ,like the Amish do.to get a set down family style dinner ,with a choice of two meats and unlimited veggies, dinner rolls, salads or coleslaw gravy and drink and dessert you have to drive to tn or ga.rhats so sad .
Bit pricey but well worth it. Awesome service, serve size is nice, too. Great desserts.No complaints, plus it was clean inside.
