Was not a fan of the margarita, and the rice was def the least favorite of any. My spouse had the pineapple skillet and liked it, this was a big deal as he always orders the poblano pepper dishes everywhere else. My daughter had the kids chicken quesadilla and rice but did not touch it, serious picky eater and the rice had peas,carrots,corn and green beans in it so that was a no on first sight. My son had the burrito with shredded chicken,beef,rice,beans,pico and lettuce but wishes he had withheld the beef and rice. My youngest had a burger and fries but ate everything. Salsa was to hot for the kids but they did favor the cheese dip. Chips were good that's always important in deciding which one to visit the chips and salsa have to be good, I'm 50/50 with this place as I was not happy with my plate I shouldve ordered without the rice as it ruined the meal being tucked inside.

I would give zero stars if I could. Our visit began with a clearly rushed understaffed and inexperienced serving crew. After being sat and gave our chips we waited for a drink order. Never came. Finally the host who sat us finally comes around to take our food order 10 minutes later. He proceeded to inform me that I should have had a waiter take my drink order but I never saw him, so he did. One bowl of salsa quickly went between the two of us and placed it at the edge of the table to signify we would like more. The salsa was never refilled. So finally our meal arrives the waiters drop it off and walk away quickly I go to look for silverware and have none. I try to wave down the waiter who brought us our food and the one that was suppose to take our drink orders and he responded by telling me to wait one second that the other waiter would be out in a minute. I was brought my food and then told I had to sit and wait to wave down another waiter so that I can finally eat. FINALLY I am able to bite into this pineapple with some meat. THEY CUT THE PINEAPPLE CORE AND DICED IT INTO THE FOOD. YOU DO NOT SERVE PINEAPPLE CORE. The steak tasted as if it had been cooked 4 hours ago and had been sitting in a warming pan. The absolute worse dining experience. Not only was the food bad the waiting staff had no idea how to handle customers or to talk to them. All underage and inexperienced. To quote one of the waiters "Im sorry your food was bad we were in the middle of the rush" and also his other excuse "we have some new people in the back so i'm sorry". These are not excuses you took my money to serve me quality food and I was served trash. Will never come here again when there is 10 other restaurants in a few miles that can serve the same thing.

This is my second time coming here and it is really good I had their steak Gorditas and they were really big and delicious I could barely finish it! I would definitely recommend this place. If you are in Boaz try this place out.
