Just ate at the Boaz location.. I was very disappointed. I went in expecting the same good BBQ experience. THINGS HAVE CHANGED. The meat portion has been lowered to kid size amounts. The sides quality have dropped terribly. I know they are trying to save money but I would have rather been charged more. Because the ribs were maybe 2 inch long.. no meat

It was ok that you did not post the higher prices on the menu…each potato a dollar extra…but when you charge me 1.89 ( times 3) for each tap water that is ridiculous. Enjoyed food but won’t be back.

Good service but food was not good. What little meat you get is dry and a drop of sauce. Had slaw added to my sandwich and I'm assuming the are running low due to having about 1 tsp of slaw. Baked beans tasted like Bush's baked beans with a little added brown sugar and fat from the meat added to them. Have no intentions on returning. Very disappointed to have spent $18.

The environment of this store is just all around a great vibe. Super clean. Very friendly & helpful staff . Yet to try the food, but I can only imagine it is delicious & worth it.

I visited southern bbq for the first time today. I ordered a bbq salad. If I hadn’t paid over $10 for a small salad I would probably just take my loss and move on but since it was quite expensive, there was a lot of lettuce and mostly the fat off of the meat. Not good at all. This was my first and last time going to this establishment.

Best bbq in Marshall county. Pulled chicken, cole slaw and pickle sandwich is great, pulled pork , cole slaw and pickle sandwich is great too. You can taste the smoke, oh yeah they smoke on premises. The sauce in not overly spicy hot, and let me tell you the French frys are the best, they beat out JJ’s and yeah I said that. Sweet tea is great too. Thank you southern bbq!!
The crew are great. Very nice and welcoming. The food is very good. We did not like the mayonnaise coleslaw, but that is just our taste. Form your own opinion. They were happy to let us choose something else.Very good experience.

BBQ sandwich has always been great! The large BBQ is a meal in itself. I usually go once a week and its the best BBQ I have had. I try every BBQ place I travel and this is the best by far. Big portions and reasonably priced.
