Yo this place is awesome! Staff are all really sweet, very knowledgeable and the cooks are on point! That one lady really nails hashbrowns and bacon. Cooked perfectly every single time. Huddle House's are always kind of hit and miss but this one is so good I had to stop eating to leave a review! Best waffles and eggs I've had in a long time. Along with bacon and toast cooked perfectly! I can't recommend it enough.

All while the cook was complaining about co workers not doing there job good enough he cooked my breakfast burnt my bacon an left scramble eggs half way cooked runny white no he should go find another job my waiter had work hs but off while they all watched !!

If you are desperate enough to eat here, do not order online. I’ve been waiting 1 hour and 20 minutes on my food. I still don’t have it. They forgot to cook my $75 order. This is the second time they’ve done this. The staff and the food are horrible. Tables are sticky. Floors are sticky. Food comes off the stove cold. I don’t know how this location stays in business.

Thanks to corporate policies about no substitutions on a coupon you lost a steady customer, today. I've been coming to the Covered Bridge Rd. restaurant for about 2 years and today your waitress told me I couldn't substitute anything on my coupon, so I left and went down the highway to Sadie's Diner. I'm going to start recommending to all my friends and family to go the extra mile and try Sadie's Diner. It's a lot better than Huddle House and I'll never eat there again and even if they build a new Huddle House in Tuscaloosa, I'll never set foot in it.

I would give 8 and a half stars for service if I could, our waitress, Cristy, was tied for best waitress I've ever had. She constantly checked if we were good and I heard her, many times, ask other customers the same thing. Once, she had to go somewhere and before she left she checked her tables and then asked a coworker to watch her tables while she was gone. It was nice to experience being considered important enough to matter. I will make it a point to find out her schedule so that we can go back when she's working. Thank you Cristy, it's always nice to see people do their job to the best of their ability.

Their night shift crew: best crew to be around. Super nice, friendly, very communicative & fast with food.
Their day shift? Rude as all get out. I had called to cancel my order that i placed maybe 5 minutes after placing it. Was told it cannot be cancelled as they had already started working on it? & in the background I could hear a woman, "I ALREADY STARTED MAKING IT YOU BETTA TELL HER COME & GET IT?!" Simply because I wanted a refund? & then I was told I had to call back Monday Morning to speak with the owner over $10?
$10 is usually nothing to me, but given how tough things are nowadays every little penny counts.
Anytime I've ever come to order on day shifts, i'm never greeted with a 'how are you?!' Or 'what can i do for you?!' It's always a monotone, 'online order?!' & nothing else besides them handing me the food.
