Authentic Mexican cooking with impeccably fresh ingredients. The atmosphere is truly stunning; I get it...but it truly is stunning: vintage hardwood floors and antique tin tile ceilings; spotlessly clean and perfect service. Bravo!
We were in Brundidge, Alabama on business and stopped at Monarch's for lunch. We expected the run of the mill Mexican meal. We were surely wrong, everything was excellent. I had combination fajitas and they were fantastic. If you find yourself near Brundidge you should dine here.
I give it a 4 star review because twice out of the many times the food was not fresh. The filling in the pepper was not fresh and I could tell. All the other times it has been delicious 😋
