We were traveling to Destin and google took us down the highways of AL. Then we found ourselves looking for a place to eat. Granny’s Spoon was the BEST stop. Awesome hamburger and fries, excellent service. Everyone was so friendly! Even met Granny! HIGHLY recommend!!

Our family just moved to Alabama A couple of weeks ago and we were excited to try the food here and boy Did it not disappoint. We have been in here twice and today we decided to try a few items on the menu, including the fried chicken. I have to quote our 10-year-old son “ this is by far the best fried chicken I have ever had!” It was surprising to hear because he normally does not like chicken and he ended up eating three pieces! I will say that I agree with with him. It was definitely flavorful and juicy, and probably the best chicken we’ve had. Our other favorite are the egg rolls, they are jam packed with flavor and just the right heat. The icing on the cake were the very kind people who work there and make the delicious food. They were extremely welcoming and very kind. We will be back!

I ate breakfast at the granny spoon This morning. The quality of the food was better than the Waffle House chain & the IHOP chain. The hostess was friendly & kind. Sevice was great since we didn't have wait long for meal to arrive. & taste of water was great! I would highly recommend this place based on quality of service, atmosopyhere & great food! & we plan to stop by again if we are in the area and recommend highly to others to suppport this mom and pop family owned restaurant due to reasonable prices, good food and great service!
