Pretty nice place to stop for a bite.
It's better than the Pie place and without the pompous people.

We were passing through Camden and decided to give Jackson's Station a try, and I'm glad we did.
The novelty of the restaurant being a repurposed old-time gas station appealed to me because as a teen, I worked in a very similar gas station. Many of the original elements of the station had been preserved including the roll-up bay doors that to my amazement, still roll up.
The woman at the counter recommended the chicken sandwich with the guarantee that if we didn't like it, we could have our money back or get anything else instead. We decided to give it a try, and it was very good. The sauce that is used is something like a tarter sauce but a little sweeter, and the chicken was cooked perfectly. We had planned to get a dessert, but were too full after the sandwich to eat it.
The staff was nice and friendly. Overall this was a very good experience and if I am ever in Camden again, I will make it a point to stop by and save room for some of that wonderful looking cheesecake.
Great food, nice folks!!
I came back home to see my grandad and my hubby and I decided to stop by and get my childhood favorite (COB) however this time we were very upset. First off we were waiting FOREVER to get our food which I looked past at first thinking ok it should be hot and fresh. Absolutely WRONG!!!! Both of our COB’s were cold the only thing that was hot was our son’s chicken tenders and the fries my okra was burnt also! The only reason you’re getting 3 stars is because the food was good but could’ve been better had it been hot. Hell, how long it took it should’ve been hot. People were literally walking in AFTER us getting their food before we did. Maybe of yall spend less time talking and more time cooking and paying attention people can get their food at a good temperature and in a timely manner!
The only reason you ain’t get it back is because we had to get back on the road and didn’t want to wait another 25 minutes.
The absolute best food I've had in awhile. Try the COB. It's great.

From touring Gees Bend then onto Camden and enjoyed an outstanding lunch at Jackson's Station. Very good COB, chicken on bread, and okra; and really everything else. Pies are tremendous. Had a great conversation with the owner who discussed how she has had multiple visitors from London. Seems a traveler came through in 2023 and stopped for lunch. Six months later a couple came in from London brought by a story they read, then six months later another couple. She found out the first guy was a food writer and had left a glowing review in the London Times. And we discussed Wordle at length. 😃 If you drop in, say you were referred by the 'Knave'. 😁
I was visiting Camden and a few locals recommended this spot to me and I'm so glad they did. They served some of the best fried chicken I've ever had in my life. Its fried to perfection and has just the perfect amount of crunch. Their okra is equally as amazing. My mom got a salad and finished every bite. The food was so good that I decided to grab some of their chicken salad to go and it's, hands down, the best I've ever had. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely be visiting this spot again.
