The food was delicious. The employees weren't as nice or friendly as they could be, none of them smiled or greeted us as we went inside. The atmosphere was dull and quiet except for the orders being taken. The manager named June is very rude.

As residents of Carbon Hill, our only option for fast food breakfast is Jacks Family Restaurant. My family and I have yet to get our orders correct through the drive thru for what I would very confidently assume to be almost 1 year now. Regardless of its breakfast or lunch, we will always be short one meal for our family and we will either have to check our food before we leave the window to correct it, or make it home to discover that it is indeed incorrect. We have also witnessed that if they’re short on condiments that they will bag your food and send it out without mentioning that they are indeed short on said condiments. On one occasion roughly 2 months ago, they began serving lunch at 09:30 CST because they did not have adequate staff and the employees answering the drive through were exchanging abrasive words with customers who were upset that they could only get hamburgers for breakfast. I am sorry to bring this much negativity towards the Carbon Hill chain but this restaurant is known, county wide, to be the worst Jacks in Walker County and most of north western Alabama. I’m sorry to say the renovation went wasted on staff who do not enjoy to work or satisfy customers and the chain does not help the hemorrhaging town of carbon Hill to add.

I have nothing but problems in the drive threw the past to years an today was awful they tryed making me double pay for my coffee. Then I had rewards points the manager Doug Odom told the cashier she couldn't do that. They never even tryed typing in the code. When I got to the window doug just stares at us wouldn't even try to fix it or look at my rewards code . Didn't even try to do anything about it. I won't be back

I went thru the drive thru and got food for my kids. We get home and my youngest tried to drink her coke and couldn’t get anything out of the straw. She opened the cup and swirled the straw around and found a receipt at the bottom of her cup. I tried to call the restaurant two times and nobody answered either time. Not only that but everybody was standing at the window and they took forever to get my kids food to me.
the workers were RUDE! they cursed at me and my friend, when we were nothing but nice, and it took them forever to make a finger snack. I understand everyone has bad days but do not take it out on customers!

Got a single gravy and double gravy both had hair in them. I called them and they said there's no one here with that color hair. So, instead of trying to fix the problems. They get defensive and blame the customer. Wouldn't recommend to anyone!
