Great lunch stop! Today they had baked chicken, hamburger steak, beef tips/rice or neckbones for the meat choices. They had greens, cabbage, black eyes peas, mac/cheese, candied yams, rice and gravy for sides, roll or cornbread. I had the hamburger steak with cabbage, greens and a roll. Nice size lunch plate... The hamburger steak was a thick patty but seasoned well and tender, the sides were good as well. Will definitely return when in the area!

I’m from Tuscaloosa and my sister kept telling us about Zaire’s! We went Saturday and everyone got different menu items and everyone was very very pleased! We all had leftovers for lunch today!!! I can’t wait to go back!!

Came here for a good home cooked meal and they did not disappoint!! I got the meatloaf, cabbage and yams and it was definitely what I needed! Just be prepared for the itis!
Oxtails plate is not worth the money..they are not full oxtails they cut like a 1/2in wide then you don't get anything in your plate straight RIP OFF..So basically one oxtail cut up for 30 dollars KEEP YOUR MONEY

As the young kids say today... IT'S BUSSIN!!! Their food is truly good. The fact that your plates are HEAVY! My family and I have enjoyed every bite since we've been eating there these last couple of weeks. Most definitely will be back next week.
Small cafe with a lot of love. You get your money's worth. Red velvet cake as well.
