Very nice local museum with lots of artifacts. Very friendly staff. We look forward to stopping back in.
A wonderful old general store turned into the county museum, many things to see regarding the local heritage, Trail of Tears, community history all in one spot. Kid friendly. The curators are local and very knowledgeable about the area. Slow and easy self tour, takes just a few hours.
Loved it
Such a wonderful place. Thank you for the opportunity to display my art! ❤️
Learning about history
It was good to look around the Museum during me & my brother's vacation.
Such a wonderful place. Thank you for the opportunity to display my art! ❤️
Remove the inept supposed Director and the entire useless Board, especially the President John Ellis....
Cool history
Awesome place, we went in at 15 mins till closing, our fault not there's. They told us next time was free and they'd take that off a membership if we wanted to be members later. My 12 yr old even loved the place.

It's a really neat place.
I loved it, my husband and I walked every inch of the place. I couldn't believe all that existed. I believe that anyone who likes old things of their past would love this. Even though my back was bothering me I very much so enjoyed everything I saw. And would love to go back and see it again. And here are some pictures you might enjoy.
they have historical items I find interesting ...as well as the story on how Cherokee county came to be ....if you like history this is a must see place ...
Had a lot of different articles from the county's History. Our children loved the hands on area in the basement.
Great experience and good food!
