Was out riding around me and my boyfriend saw it was open and never tried it before decided to stop in and now we will become regulars 10/10 recommend we will be back :)

It wasn't the cook it was the quality of the food... The fried green tomatoes would decent if the oil hadn't it tasted so bad. And the chicken I couldn't even eat.. it was like rubbery boneless frozen breast. Was not fresh chicken... Not to cook the quality of the food..

So I've ordered doordash before and had great food but today was terrible unfortunately. I rated before trying the food, the fried okra is hard as a rock, the chicken is hard as a rock, whole egg in the chicken gravy, I have sensitivity to whole eggs?♀️??

Place was empty when i arrived. But it was an odd hour. Friendly, clean, fast. Very nice, lots of tv's. One comment...REPLACE THOSE WORE OUT AMERICAN FLAGS!!! Veteran and patriot here. I always try to buy local too. I should buy two new flags and replace those myself. Just because I love this land. Veterans... give this place a stop on your way through Centre.

The meat loaf was great, the northern beans were barely warm, and the creamed corn was cold. The mexican cornbread was very dry and crumbly. Overall, it's not what I was expecting

Don't miss the friendly service at Whistle Stope Cafe. Had small cheese burger. Fried Okra was delightful. Sweet potato fries are not to be missed. Corn Dog was lightly breaded and best I've had. Donna was so friendly!
