It is so disheartening to me that I even have to make this post. Alicia and her team catered my wedding on October 26, 2024. Leading up to the wedding, I will say that her communication was OK. I had no issues there. Me and my fiance decided on the pizza bar/nacho bar/& fruit bar for our dinner menu. We had seen where Alicia and her team had previously put together a beautiful set up for a past wedding of this menu and had only received positive feedback. I was so excited for this menu to add to my big day. I will say, the set up was pretty, but that does not count for much if the food was not good. I had multiple family members tell me that as the caterer was setting up, store bought frozen pizzas were being brought into the kitchen. This is extremely disappointing, as mine nor my fiancés family paid thousands of dollars for our guests to be served STORE BOUGHT pizza. Not only that, not near enough food was provided for the guest count that I had submitted to Alicia. Halfway through the line, the pizza ran out. The catering team left and bought Hunt Brothers Pizza and fed gas station pizza to my guests. The meat for the nacho bar was empty when less than half of my guests had been through the line as well. Nothing other than homemade pizza should have been served to my guests, we paid a ridiculous amount for pizza as it is, and had I known that me and my guests would be served frozen pizzas, we would have never booked with this company. My father in law attempted to go into the kitchen and was met with extremely rude workers that were putting the food together and it was made clear that he was not allowed in there. I am extremely disappointed with the entire situation, and it really upsets me that so many people have great experiences with Alicia and her team and I am one of the few brides who has to look back on this day to these unfortunate circumstances. I hope that moving forward A Gathering Place does not do this to any other couples on the most momentous day of their lives. I will not be recommending this company…

We used A Gathering Place for both our wedding shower and our cocktail hour at our wedding. This was one of the best decisions that we made, and added the best touches to both of our events. Their hearts alone make the experience so wonderful, paired with the most beautiful charcuterie boards. Using them would elevate your event so wonderfully.

Alicia and her team are the best in the business!!!! We went to a tasting that she held for bride-to-be's and found it extremely hard to limit our wedding menu down to ONLY 7 items because everything tasted so good. Alicia has a passion for what she does and a creative eye to style food in a way that somehow looks better than it tastes (and it tastes DANG GOOD). Seriously, I could go on and on, but the pictures and her food speaks for itself!

I have had the pleasure of planning with A Gathering Place for two events, my daughter’s wedding and a church event. From the moment I booked them for the wedding they were extremely easy to work with and made things as stress free as possible. They were always quick to respond to questions and concerns. Alicia was very helpful and enthusiastic to plan a menu for the big day. She had incredible ideas to make my daughter’s day a dream and absolutely delivered down to the smallest details. We were stunned with how beautiful everything was set up- it’s like a work of art. But the taste! We had so many compliments! I was told several times by our guests that it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. Alicia and her team made sure the couple had a plate of food to enjoy before getting caught up in the festivities and even packed them a beautiful to go basket. Mom was left with zero work to do! They took care of everything. She and her staff were just as wonderful with the church event as well. I highly recommend the food and experience.

A Gathering Place recently catered my wedding. They made everything easy from the beginning. On wedding day, they were so sweet. My husband and I had a private dinner after the ceremony, and they had our dinner waiting for us, and came back to check on us to make sure we were okay. I dream about the Mac and cheese! So good! All of our guests said the food was 10/10. I cannot recommend A Gathering Place enough. Thank you so much Alicia for giving me peace of mind when it came to the food!
