We tried station 31 for lunch and man we're We glad we did. A nice little restaurant with a cool bar that seats around 15. They were decorated for Christmas and the service was good. We were very impressed with the many choices on the menu. We started with the cheese curds. This was one of the largest appetizers weve ever had. My wife got a wedge salad which was good along with the smothered chicken with roasted garlic potatoes. I had the Philly cheese steak with fries with A1 sauce. Very good seasoning with a large portion. The food was served hot and everything was seasoned well. I will definitely be back when in the area.

I have been coming here for awhile now & never really had anything out of the norm to say...service is usually great!! Until last night when i got there ..let them know I needed seating for 5 & sat & waited awhile for someone to take my order until I asked the young man who was cleaning the tables up could you find my waitress please..then she finally come & take my drink order & appetizer order...then she left & it was another almost 20 to 30 min before coming back & that's only because I asked the buss boy again...Needless to say I don't think im coming back for awhile & want recommend anyone here as well!!! Service was horrible & my waitress was not attentive at all...

Very good. Not a two $$ dollar-sign place. More like $$$. Food was excellent, service was excellent, atmosphere was fairly good.
Update: Station 31 has jumped to the top of my list. Best restaurant of the area. The waiters & waitresses usually are exceptionally good. The food can't be beat. Thursday's at lunch is the best time to eat here because on Thursday they offer a country fried steak that is tops especially with that wonderful gravy (I usually ask for extra gravy and get it! And eat it!)

Recommended dishes: Okra, Fried Green Tomatoes, Hamburger, French Fries, Smothered Chicken

Service was good, but I ask for rolls or cornbread with the meal. She said they didn't serve bread after 4pm? I'd never heard of that before. The tea isn't too good, and the okra was over cooked. other than that the food is great, but the amount was less than I'd heard about. The lighting is poor. I had only been there for lunch once before. So I will try it once more soon.

This is my mother's favorite place to go. The service is always amazing. The food is wonderful with very generous portions. Tonight my mother ordered grilled shrimp but was brought fried. The staff took care of the problem and her correct food was out in about two minutes. That's great service. Just cant say enough good things about this restaurant.

We happened to be driving in this area and hadn’t heard of it, decided we would give it a try since it was lunchtime. I expected a mediocre place but we were so thrilled at everything, the food was absolutely delicious, and the pricing was more than reasonable, the iportions were huge!! The fried chicken, fried green tomatoes were exceptionally good!! My friend had the Smothered chicken, and the roasted garlic potatoes and Speckled butter beans, he said it was all delicious!
We will now make it a destination location to eat! Today was lunch, they were busy and a lot of people were there, but the server was so sweet and very attentive and the food ca
Dr out quickly.
Can’t wait until the next vidit
.maybe Donner??!!

Stopped in tonight at 3:30 and not realizing that they were still serving from the lunch menu. I made a special request from the dinner menu and the kitchen was willing to oblige me. As always, my sliders and onion straws were fantastic. This is why I keep coming back.

When this place first opened it was the best. But I haven’t done here in a couple years now. Flavor of food has gone down greatly.
We arrived as a party of 5. When our orders came out to our table only 2 of us received exactly what we ordered. My order consisted of steamed broccoli, fried green tomatoes, hush puppies, coleslaw, catfish and a glass of sweet tea.
1: I had steamed broccoli with an extremely light hint of seasoning. When I say light I mean it was only visible and I could not taste it. I had to put salt on the broccoli to give it some flavor. I never salt my broccoli at home. I only use seasoning. The broccoli also needed to be steamed a bit longer. What I had just wasn’t tender enough.
2: the fried green tomatoes where to vinegary in taste. They need to add some sugar to their mixture to hide the vinegar flavor.
3: hush puppies were the size of melon balls with no onion in the mix and dry. These bite size or two bite hush puppie balls needs to be larger with onion in them. The onion will give the hush puppies moisture so they won’t be dry.
4: their coleslaw was runny, with very little mayo, to much sugar and far to much vinegar. I could definitely taste the sugar, barely saw the sauce mixture unless I scraped the slaw to the side of the dish revealing the runny sauce.
5: catfish is a bit skimpy in overall thickness. It’s like the fish went on a diet before being caught. A bit more salt needs to be added to the batter mixture as there was no flavor in any of the bites. The plus side, the catfish had no bones in it.
6: my sweet tea was far to strong in tea itself. I could barely taste the sugar. All I was tasting was tea. I added 8 packets of original sugar to my tea and it was still strong in tea flavor.
I don’t know if the owner buys their foods frozen ready to cook as well as ready to use sauces or perhaps the tea. But adjustments will need to be implemented before I dine here again. If everything they serve is frozen ready to cook then they need to find a different company to order their food from.

Like I said only 2 plates were exactly as ordered, yet we paid full price for the screw up plates.

Average spent per person consisting of 3, on one ticket after taxes is $15.756 = $47.27
Average on ticket 2 was $15.94 = $31.88

Parking lot was free of trash with plenty of parking spots to choose from. Back when this place first opened we couldn’t find a parking spot?

The food was horrible. I had the Friday fish fry special, so I’ll start with that. The fries and hush puppies are straight from a bag from the grocery store frozen food section. And the fish would have had more flavor had it been Gorton’s or Mrs. Paul’s. The tartar sauce was probably sourced from a dollar store. And the coleslaw was the worst I’ve ever had—-no flavor except cheap sugar and cheap mayo. The fried pickles had 1/4” of oil sitting in the bottom of the basket. The grilled chicken on the salad was the prefab stuff from a grocery store, and the salad greens were definitely past their ”best by” date. Nothing about this meal was fresh or “home cooked.” There’s no way any of this is from a “family recipe.”
Our server was pleasant and nice; I made sure to tip well, as it’s not her fault that the food was garbage.
The McDonald’s down the hill is a much better dining option than this place.
