I went in at 8pm and I felt bad but I was hungry and home from work late. I could tell the lady taking orders was beat and had had a day but let me tell ya. Absolute best place to eat in Childersburg. Burger was perfect. Mac n cheese exactly how it should be. Fried tomatoes sliced thinly and crisped to perfection. Thank God for Hometown and Roll Tide!!!
Stopped off for lunch here while traveling on 280 and if you can get past some very sparse interiors the food is great and the service above average. Chopped pork sandwich with fries were very good. Friendly employees who were working hard during a full lunch crowd.
I truly loved the laid back atmosphere of this place. It was the night of the SEC Championship game. Our server was setting the mood. I gave the food a 3 only because the beef brisket was cut improperly and tasted like sandwich meat instead of slow cooked smoked.bbq
