It was after 8 p.m. traveling thru Childersburg, Al. Saw the Golden Arches and decided to go with the drive thru. There was a waiting line in drive thru, therefore, line waiting to order and then line waiting to pay for/get food. I had the McChicken and Sweet Tea. Chicken sandwich was good and hot. Sweet Tea was just what I needed to pick me up. Employees were helpful and friendly. It was a great Drive Thru, except for the wait time.

The kiosk was not able to do meals and the employees were having a difficult time as well. Food was stale and all the drinks tasted like orange drink.
Had to wait 15 minutes for 2 cars in front of us just to get an iced coffee and senior coke. THEN when we got the coffee it tasted like water and sent it back and they acted like we was lying to them. It was the first time we have had an awful experience.

This McDonald’s is the only one I’ve ever been to that charges you full price for upsizing a drink that comes with your combo meal, adding a charge for salsa with the breakfast burrito and a charge for no ice in your drink. Plus you have to sit at the ordering board forever even when you’re the only car there! This McDonald’s is about 2 miles from my home but I’ll drive to the one in Chelsea or Sylacauga before I go back to this one ???
