We usually eat at the Chip. Great place to eat. Our service tonight was subpar. The food was great as usual. Steak was cooked right. The only problem with our dinner tonight was that our server(s) left us unattended until the portion of our food was ready.

I ordered the 1/2 smoked chicken. It was served room temo. Beans were very good. Okra was greasy and soggy. My son got the pulled pork, and he really enjoyed it. To me, the visit was not worth $50 (including appetizer).

Food was excellent. I got the burger with coleslaw on the side. The coleslaw was chopped very fine, but the taste was stellar. My husband ordered the catfish with fried okra and potato salad. It was all delicious. The wait staff was welcoming and kept our drinks full and they have the "good ice". All in all a great experience!

Rustic off the path restaurant. Not far from the interstate, food and service was excellent. I had the ribeye and potato and limas. Steak was perfect, everything was just a great experience. You can tell it’s definitely a locals place. My favorite kind of place. Everyone is as so friendly. Will definitely be back and highly recommend you stopping by to eat if you are in the area.

From the outside this place doesn’t look like much. But once you’re inside it’s very homey feeling, the staff is extremely nice and attentive, and the portions are huge for the price. Get out of the big city and eat at the Hickory Chip!
