This is the kind of place that we will continue to visit. Down home type food and friendly service. Vegetables are very good. We had fried chicken and it was good. Hard to find places like this anywhere. Highly recommend.

Had a breakfast meeting for 10 and Michelle made it look simple. Table was ready when we arrived and food and service was Quick and GREAT!!!! Definitely recommend!!!!!💯

It has been great Service not so good today I went to go get my own tea Waitress not so nice I ordered the three and one I got my own salad and a go box I Admitted I fillex it up pretty well So when I got to check out They charged me for a large salad 7 dollars more No one ever said they were going to up front Remember salad was supposed to go with it They should have told me up front it was gonna be more and what's with this putting you on the spot these days to tip people That's manipulation I know they're trying to teach a lesson but here are some lessons for them Let people know up front when something is gonna. Be more because this big boy likes to eat and don't put people on the spot to tip Its a free country and should be at your on discretion Pay the waitresses more and yes have a blessed day

A friend of mine was looking for some home-cooked food. Since neither of us is familiar with the Clanton area, I relied on Google for some recommendations. When we arrived, it seemed they were about to close for the day in the next 30 minutes or so. A few people rolled their eyes as one of the staff was breaking down the salad bar. After we arrived, two more tables arrived, so we were not the only visitors arriving later than I would have preferred. I was a bit skeptical from some of the looks that were being exchanged, but my friend was really craving home-style cooking. Once our waitress arrived to take our order, she was more pleasant than I had anticipated. She took our order without hesitation and even offered us dessert, which we were not charged for. The food was satisfactory, but I wonder if it was because of the time we arrived. If I am in the area again, I might give them a second chance. I have been a waitress myself and understand the desire to finish tasks and end the day. Additionally, I recognize that tips are an important part of a server's income. My attitude while waiting tables was always to welcome and accommodate all customers.

The menu is very limited. I had a chicken salad sandwich, which was very tasty. However, my guests had the beef tips with rice and it was disappointing. The banana pudding was... Interesting. No one at my table ate it. The staff was very friendly! And the decor was nice. Also, the chicken salad sandwich meal came with tea only. I don't drink tea, so I had to pay extra for a soda.

The food is good. The service stinks. It takes the waitress 10-15 minutes to even come to the table. The least they could do is acknowledge the customer. They will walk past you a dozen times and never say a word.
