Shoney's is a quaint restaurant located just off the interstate. The waitresses are friendly and polite, providing quick refills and going above and beyond. The buffet offers a variety of options, including a salad bar and food bar, loaded with all kinds of country cooking. Breakfast is always great, with last call at 10:45am on weekdays and 12:45pm on weekends. The fish is heavenly, and the cabbage is just like Momma used to make. While it would be nice to see more vegetable options or fresh fruit on the dessert bar, the restaurant has survived the challenges of the pandemic and maintained its consistency. The service is characterized by traditional Southern hospitality, with staff constantly changing out food to keep it fresh, making it a great stopover for travelers.
