It is currently 12:25 p.m. on November 14th 2025 I am currently at the shoney's restaurant next to the Exxon gas station in clanton Alabama. We decided to eat the hot bar they have a potato soup on their hot bar. I got me a bowl of the potato soup took one bite of it and almost threw up immediately the soup is sour I said something to staff staffs reportedly told management and nobody not a server a cook or a manager has come to check that soup that soup is spoiled and sour. In my personal opinion that shows how much management cares whether or not they're serving edible food or something that can make somebody deathly ill.

We haven't got to eat at a Shoneys in years since most have closed down and it didn't disappoint. The breakfast buffet was very good, the food was fresh, our waitress was very friendly and the service was top notch.
