For the last 4 days I have had the privilege of working with Daniel Castleberry at Smoking Guns Bbq. He has done a great job and I know he is going to carry on the tradition and surpass our goal when Donna and I started the business. He is going to move this company forward and bring in some new idea’s and products.
This is a small Mom and Pop Shop run by a couple of hard working people. We stopped in one Saturday afternoon and they were sold out of the brisket we wanted. They told me that they were cooking more and when it would be ready. They apologized for the brisket not being the best because it had to cook faster than normal. It was GREAT! The side items were also good. The beans are a special blend of navy and pinto beans cooked with their own blend of spices and brisket and sausage....
WOW! What a great find! The BBQ and potato salad are,both delicious! So nice to see such a friendly couple running such a great place to eat! You can also get the owner, Tom to custom smoke turkeys and hams for your holiday table. We are going to be regulars now. Try it, you'll love it!
