We ate at el Vergel and it was amazing! My husband very much enjoyed his chile relleno. I loved my soup and my enchiladas! The cheese dip and the guacamole (it wasn’t chunky and I prefer it that way) tasted great! Everything was made fresh and tasted fresh and delicious! We will definitely come again! Everything was kept clean, well taken care of and nicely decorated 😍 Very nice owners & great costumer service ❤️

It is the only place in Clio to go out to eat. The food is sub-average. Too salty for my liking. It took a very long time for the food and they are not prepared for the busy times. A good manager could turn that place around and be very profitable.
My recent visit was horrible... August 2025. There was almost no meat on the fajitas and they actually charged $8 for chips and hot sauce..! They even argued. Now I know why my family has stopped going there. I'll never go back
