If you're ever in or near Cordova Alabama and find yourself hungry. Stop by Jeff and Vons is just off the highway, it might not look like much from the outside but the food was delicious! Ordered a large burger basket (burger and fries) and hubby got the fried bologna sandwich. Both were delicious!! You won't be disappointed. Tell her HONIBE said hello.

The smell of cigarettes hit me in the face as I entered. The place was empty and rough around the edges for sure. Old black and white western playing on the TV...Zane Grey I believe. It was fairly cool that day, but a window unit with 100,000 miles on it ran wide open the entire time. You're so close to the tracks that a train came by and actually blocked the satellite signal for a minute. If only for a second, I was living The Truman Show. What I did get was a fresh cooked double cheeseburger, fries and a coke for $20 out the door (Thanks Jeff). It might not be for everyone but the food was good and orders kept coming in late on a Friday. I will return because I believe places like this need to continue to exist in small town America. Put aside your prejudices, get over the smoke and sit down.
