If you're ever in or near Cordova Alabama and find yourself hungry. Stop by Jeff and Vons is just off the highway, it might not look like much from the outside but the food was delicious! Ordered a large burger basket (burger and fries) and hubby got the fried bologna sandwich. Both were delicious!! You won't be disappointed. Tell her HONIBE said hello.

The smell of cigarettes hit me in the face as I entered. The place was empty and rough around the edges for sure. Old black and white western playing on the TV...Zane Grey I believe. It was fairly cool that day, but a window unit with 100,000 miles on it ran wide open the entire time. You're so close to the tracks that a train came by and actually blocked the satellite signal for a minute. If only for a second, I was living The Truman Show. What I did get was a fresh cooked double cheeseburger, fries and a coke for $20 out the door (Thanks Jeff). It might not be for everyone but the food was good and orders kept coming in late on a Friday. I will return because I believe places like this need to continue to exist in small town America. Put aside your prejudices, get over the smoke and sit down.

Roll Tide atmosphere! Best large Cheeseburger basket I've had in years! Wife loved her breakfast as well! Very cheerful service! Very hospitable!

First it's a small place without a cashier, and servers. We only saw one person, Jeff. Very friendly. Wasn't busy. The place feels homie. House salad was better than most chain restaurants. Then the steak, rib eye was cooked as ordered and was very good. Which my wife is picky and she enjoyed it. I got a big bacon burger. It is big and it had more than a couple of pieces of bacon. Crispy crunchy bacon with enough to taste. Burger was great. We'll be back!

Hard pass. I have almost over 500 Google reviews, mostly restaurants, and this is only the 2nd time I have turned on my heels and walked out, chiefly because of the vibe...and I LIKE greasy spoon hole in the wall dives. But this was too redneck even for me. Maybe was all the political posters plastered out front. Who knows. Stopped in solely to see if 1) business was open and 2) if served b'fast or lunch only (no cars in front zero ppl there aside from the one out front smoking and the one who was smoking cigs inside--the proprietor I assumed) and was answered with "Well it is a restaurant." If you say so pal, but not one that can't get beyond a 1 or 2-star review. Not from me anyhow.
