Its focus is primarily locally-sourced products, and it is the best place in the broader area for meats and higher quality wines at very competitive prices. The venue was formerly a restaurant and the owner of the store was the chef, so another thing available at 34 Market is a wide variety of pre-packaged meals made on the premises. Really handy when you are at the lake! On top of that, the owners are a throwback to the days where proprietors worked their stores with their families, so everyone working here actually cares about your experience and is genuine in trying to help. The Sandridge Pasta Salad was great if you like vinegar a base. The Jalapeño Pimento Cheese had no taste, not even a slight bite from the jalapeños. The Ranch Dressing is good if you don't want to make your own. The Busy Gal Cheese Straws are probably some of the best I have ever had!! If you like cheddar horseradish cheese, they have it here. The prices were reasonable on the specialty items, but high on the staples which is to be expected in this type of market. Great all around experience!
