This place is wonderful. Friendly people make you feel absolutely welcome. Out on the patios, the atmosphere is relaxing & so enjoyable. We were able to bring our pooches too. Bringing dogs to the patio wasn't out of the ordinary either. Other regulars also brought their pets. Come for the food, stay to enjoy the people & place. I definitely and highly recommend coming to Niffer's Place Lake Martin.

Atmosphere was great. Plenty to do for the kids and adults while waiting for table. Also plenty of stuff on the walls to look at to play “I spy with my little eye”. However, that is where the rating takes a nose dive. After ordering our food, we waited. And waited. It felt as if we were following Moses into the desert. Why did it have to take 40 years to get our food. Now, for reals, after waiting 20 minutes for a table, it took over 45 minutes for our food to get delivered. We had to leave and let the grandparents get our food bc we had a long day on the lake, and we were all tired and hangry. I beg you, please look into a mirror and ask yourself, do you think your family is willing to wait for 45 agonizing minutes, after waiting for 20 minutes for a table, trying your best to entertain and not lose your ever loving mind? Kids got pizzas, which were the same taste and texture of a heated lunchable pizza. Go somewhere else.

Had lunch here on Mother’s Day. It was crowded so had about a 20 minute wait for a table at noon. I ordered from the specials menu and got a burger, chips and iced tea and my partner had the hamburger steak, baked potato, house salad and a beer. Even though they were extremely busy we got our food fairly quickly. Everything was delicious. My burger was cooked exactly as ordered. Our server was attentive and friendly. Niffer’s is one of our favorite places to eat and we will definitely return soon.
Excellent experience. Our waitress was Hayley and I couldn't ask for a more polite and caring waitress! Food was delicious and service was A1, never had to ask for anything. 10/10 Will go again
