Great food made w/fresh ingredients! One of our favorite spots to eat @ Lake Martin. Took home chocolate fritters for dessert--these were like a chocolate hush puppy w/choc pudding inside and my boys loved them. Awesome homemade dressings/sauces here, too!

Very disappointed with what use to be an amazing desert. Went there specifically for the chocolate fritter. It use to be a desert that could easily be shared between multiple people. Today it came out in a .50 cent Walmart reusable plastic cereal bowl, Literally. Small portion for 2 people. Very upset. ?

Vegetarian options: I ordered sweet potatoes and it was delicious and perfectly cooked and turnips delicious also, well seasoned.
Went in to fill out an application upon a friends request because they needed help. I went in and filled out my application. When I got done the manager "Ronnie" grabbed my paper and asked what my name was and shook my hand. I put on my application that I could work Monday through Saturday. He proceeded to ask me why I couldn't work Saturdays or Sundays I told him I can work Saturdays just not Sundays because I go to church that it's my religious day. He then tells me to call him back when I could work Sundays, walks away, balls my application up and throws it away. The level of unprofessionalism this individual has. I later called to speak with the owner and told him what happened and while he acted like he didn't care that I was denied a job because of my religious beliefs I then hung up. After we got off the phone I was told by other workers that him and the manager Ronnie laughed at the situation as a whole. Wow what great new business owners and managers this place has now! Not professional or mature at all. Will be making a claim with the U.S Equal Opportunity Commission board.
As soon as we entered the Oskar's, we felt most welcomed. There were six in our group. Our order came in a timely manner. Each of us had ordered different meals, and each of us were pleased with our choices. The atmosphere is inviting and the staff was efficient and friendly. Definitely will return!
